I'm not sure what you meant by it needing help. It's a ctually it's pretty stable. Take off at 48% and try to anticipate the movements. Land in the 36% range.
Very neat design. Flies and lands really well. A bit unstable on the ground and a bit thirsty on the fuel but overall a great design worthy of five stars!
Fun to fly. I like using the VTOL and seeing how close I can get to stalking or using it to stall in to a perfect landing. Really neat aircraft. Easy to fly and very easy to land.
Can't believe nobody said it yet...It looks like the seaduck from tailspin. Unfortunately there is too much going on there for my iPhone5 and it runs very slow. I might modify this one to work. Great looking plane.

Impossible to take off on my iPhone. I made the rear wheel turn but that did not help. I like the story behind it and I believe it's worth 5 stars but I won't rate it yet. I want to get it off the ground first. I also won't be a jerk and give you a bad rating because I can't take off. So please try to fix it because if it flies as good as it looks then I'd like to try it.
Flies beautifully! Thank you for not making it stupid fast and uncontrollable. It's just about right in all aspects. Handles realistically, it's very stable, and easy to land.
Went over 1200mph because you said not to. I pulled up and ripped the wings off as expected. The plane kept flying so I kept pulling up to do a 180 back towards land. I used rudder to turn myself right side up and to navigate aligning myself for a landing. Headed towards runway and landed safely with no wings. That deserves 5 stars! If you try this just remember that you'll loose fuel fast after ripping the wings off.
Just a fun little bush plane that it great on gas, has a slow takeoff and landing speed and is pretty tough. I landed it in the mountains and was able to take off. Lives up to its name.
The best F18 on here so far! Great job! Usually I look for planes with lots of potential and make them better, cooler, etc... I can't see a single thing to improve on this one. The fix for the H stab would be the only change. You can prevent it from falling off By changing it to flat bottom.
@hypnotoad I have made some changes and re-uploaded it twice, first time I forgot to log in so pick the one with my user name in it. lol. Maybe you want to give it a try? Rudders were changed and new ones added as well as an air brake. Even more fun to fly despite some extra weight. I have another fun aircraft I uploaded as well called the Striker10 if you like low speed landing (you can tell I do) it's definitely the one to try out.
Probably one of the most stable planes I have downloaded on here and a pleasure to fly. Landing it is extremely easy, the plane is also very forgiving on a bad landing and can land and take off at very low speeds. Funnest thing to do with this plane is take it up to a higher altitude, cut engine power and see how long you can glide for. I attempted a carrier landing but the carriers are just too short. Only cons about it are that it could use a better rudder system for better slow flight yaw ability and an air brake to slow down more before final approach.
Weird stuff started happening. So I went to fly it today and upon startup either the left or right H stab falls off. I re-downloaded it and overwrote the file. No change. Restarted SP, still no change. Kinda weird. I'm using an iPhone5. Not sure if that makes a difference.
But awesome plane none the less! I'm an F-18 mechanic and I'm very impressed with the fact that I can still fly and land with half a wing and one H stab missing. Just like the real thing.
Awesome plane! Flies very nice and stable. One thing that I would like to see and am trying to do the mod myself is to get rid of the elevator on the rear H stab and make the whole thing move like in the real thing. Everything else seems accurate.

Had a lot of fun with this one. Here is a hint for slow iOS systems. Remove the missles and external fuel tanks for smoother frame rate.
For the simple fact that I landed this on the carrier, I'm giving it 5 stars. The stability on this is amazing at low speed. Good job!

Finally a commercial plane that is iphone friendly. It's easy to fly. A bit unforgiving during hard landings. But still worth 5 stars. Good job.

Changing the H stab from symmetric to flat bottom seems to fix the issue. Great plane! I love flying this thing!
@NasaSpace101 Well good news! Version 2.0 is much better and funner to fly. I spent hours tweaking it. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Flies pretty good and is easy to land. Rudder needs to be reversed.
