I will! I have gotten within 2 seconds, but with a plane that crashes half the time. It also loses a lot of speed in unnecessary turns. The AI seems to like your plane more and flies it more efficiently. Did you do something to make that happen or is it just luck? @Texasfam04
Don’t know if you will see this, but in the 2017 Indy Air race, this plane eliminated me in the first round, even though I had one of the fastest planes in the competition. I decided to download it and work on a plane to beat it. Right now I am 3-5 seconds behind on the indy air race and can beat in on any course with less turns. I will have my revenge! (I did take inspiration from your tail X design, and may have copied your pitch settings to get that early acceleration). Great Plane!
I uploaded a “flyable” version. I copied the wing and overlayed it 3x to give it a “larger” wing without changing the look. I also removed weight from the rear and added some to the front by moving 1000 lb beams inside the front fuselage.
Great first plane! I actually have made an f6f also. I see that you ran into the problem I did where the engine and cockpit were too small. I used other parts, fuselage blocks, to make it look more natural. You can look at my design to see what I mean.
Thanks! @KiVZ

Finished my entry, though it looks more like a World War II German super weapon.
Thanks! @Helicopterboy
