I think it's the missiles and guns that hasn't been released on Android yet. If you remove them it should work. Obviously keep the armed one for pc players though!
@Theflyingauzzie but seriously, I find the best way to make good planes is to look at pictures, lots of pictures. And look at dimensions and weights too. If you know a p38 prop diameter you can make the plane to scale off of that. I also never publish a plane I can't take off from Murphy, fly controllably and land. Most planes I've built haven't been published yet because they're not yet "perfect"!
Nice, did you know you don't need to have the vtol engine fitted to your plane? As long as it's beside it in the build area it will still power the nozzles. Might help you with your stability issues. I did it for my vertilightning and it turned it from a brick to a flyable a/c!
Take a look at other people's mustangs: take them apart and figure out how they built them. That's how you get good at this! You don't need to be able to xml mod either, just use reference pictures and you'll get better :)
Interesting take on my version, if you're gonna make a glider though you could get rid of the jet intakes and make the wings wider, that might fix the nose down tendency!
Thanks, I started with building from memory (looks nothing like the real thing) then went on to using photos. I'm confident that this is as close to real as you can get without resorting to xml/overly complex building. I'd rather it look basic and work well on mobiles than be complicated and unflyable
Hopefully the next update gives us adjustable jet engines, I had one running on the big turbofan bit it was a little too fast. I aim to make them fun to fly but don't see the point in excess speed.
Thanks, I get bored at work so I just build what I think is interesting. The ps2 game this aircraft is from was a big part of my growing up so I decided I'd build a homage to it. I loved the fact I could change the wings fuselage etc to improve the handling and speed so I might be making some more planes from that game.
Really impressed with how you've built this. Only trouble I had taking off was the vtol nozzles on the front tip the craft over. Disabling movement of it seems to help but pitch control is reduced.
What did you change?
@Droslash nice, one of the prettiest planes of its time, along with the spitfire.

Any chance we could get a mobile version?
Flying pancake right? I remember this thing from secret weapons over Normandy for ps2...
Very smart looking, all you need now is a slick paint job.

Ohhh I see, my bad.
Sorry mate won't happen again.
Very twitchy on takeoff and landing, just like the real thing! Great build.
Nope I'm a scot @Theflyingauzzie
@bjac0 you know I didn't make this plane, right? It's garthacks
But... They want to be YouTube famous! ;) @bjac0
Almost looks like something from Crimson skies!
If you want a jet p-38 I have the very thing!

Only got 1 but it's a beaut!

I'm severely jealous of your skills, if only I had the motivation to mod like this!
Any chance you could fit an undercarriage? Apart from that a very nice replica

I've figured it out, I can use the touch pad to control vtol :)

The very first time I got it set up it worked fine but I've tried resetting and I can't get it to do the same thing.
