@Bi0H4z4rd it's because the nose wheel is so much longer than the rears. You've got to really flare a lot more than usual, almost like a taildragger. I would update and re-release this with upgrades, but I'm not updating simpleplanes until they bring back mod support. Most of my newer builds rely on fly by wire and other things the base game doesn't provide at the moment. My advice would be to flare, nudge the nose wheel up higher and maybe get some air brakes on. Can't believe I missed these simple things, but it was 3 years ago I made this.
@LightMindedJedi it will hit mach 2,same as the real thing. But you need to go hi altitude for that. It you want something faster, try my Schwarze Team MiG-31. If you're feeling dangerous try the FA-1 Fand I made a few days ago. Theres something even more capable in the pipeline as we speak, might even be finished by tonight.
Nice, area 88 had some of the best paint jobs. I'd download this if it ran on my phone lol, I'll stick to my F-20 series I built. You should do more area 88 planes!
@Noman0rumeral hmm you're right, how strange. I found a similar problem with my draken, resulting in making a smaller wing at the rear for the elevators. This solved the problem. I'll be sure to fix this in another build
@JoddyFubuki788 Yeah, it's nice and forgiving, and you can advance to the
F-20 or X-29 and they'll handle similarly. I like the blue but I wish there was a way to pick more detailed/accurate colours
@Noman0rumeral nope, they're correct. If you imagine pitching down, the main wing needs to make more lift, as it's behind the centre of mass. This force, coupled with the elevators deflecting downwards, will rotate the aircraft about its lateral axis and give you nose down.
@FennVectorCWA The French were originally part of the EF2000 program, but they wanted a smaller multirole plane. That's why they look very similar I think. The tips were the easiest part, flat surfaces are nice to work with :) Thanks for the praise, appreciate it.
@Supercraft888 I've flight tested it myself, it's a lot more stable without all the weight of weapons and fuel, but I wanted to give people the option of removing these parts themselves. The aircraft won't tolerate being thrown around, but if handled carefully you should have no issues. I had to make a tradeoff between agility and sharpness or stable and less manouvrable. It's a fighter, so I chose the latter. If you're looking for a more forgiving plane I'd ask you to try my Saab Gripen/Draken, F-20 or MiG-31, they're more stable than this but less manouvrable. Thanks for the feedback though, I do appreciate it!
@MrDeguello I just checked the weight balance, I must've changed something just before I uploaded it :( as for the stability at speed its a trade off between agility at low speed, which I thought was more important with this one being a dogfight specialists airplane. Thanks for the feedback though!
@MrDeguello Yeah I know the feeling, kids these days haha. BTW I finally finished my Gripen if you want to have a go. Any feedback from you would be useful.
@MrDeguello there is, that's how I started playing. I only got the pc version this month after a year of playing on mobile. Now I build on pc and download them to my phone!
@MrDeguello yeah, I always upload a plane and forget things, usually the nose wheel turning or something! It's really impressive for one of your first planes though, and the part count is small enough that it runs well on phones too!
Good looking replica, but it needs to be more agile. Try shifting the CoM closer to the CoL. I've been building one myself so we'll see how that turns out :)
@Flash0of0green ahh I see. Nah it's just the knight paint scheme from Ace Combat Zero, similar to the NASA one. I name my planes after whatever squadron flew them in those games you see
@Insertname ah, well. Now I only build on laptop. I'll do quick little test builds on my phone but the main effort is done on pc. No problem, thought I'd have a look at the one you mentioned, you've built similar plans to what I go for, too. Mostly 4th gen fighters
I like the wheels on this, Should try and put an all moving tailplane on it? And if you can, try building on pc/mac, i just started (hence the 3 planes in quick succession). Nudge tool changes everything!
This is the plane that's pushed me to silver, so I'll be doing another version of it to celebrate (you can probably guess what it'll be) Thanks everybody
@Sunnyskies thanks for the tips, I appreciate it. I'm torn between reading this properly and doing an X-29 but I'm definitely going to redo it at some point now.
@AcePilot118 thanks for the input, I'm glad someone got the livery references
@AerialSus thanks! I made this a while ago, I reckon I could make an even better version these days.

Good to see people still using this and ironing out the issues I had, so long after I released it
+1@LightMindedJedi it will hit mach 2,same as the real thing. But you need to go hi altitude for that. It you want something faster, try my Schwarze Team MiG-31. +1@diamondslasher they're great fun, easier than flying in this I think
@diamondslasher hey me too! Front or back seat?
@OrionAstronaut that's cool, I can wait :)
Soooo, who won??
@Noman0rumeral hmm you're right, how strange. I found a similar problem with my draken, resulting in making a smaller wing at the rear for the elevators. This solved the problem. I'll be sure to fix this in another build
@JetFighter @MAHADI hey thanks :) this is my first ever featured plane too!
@JoddyFubuki788 Very manouvreable, I like. Especially the ag8 missiles :) I think the nose and cockpit could be more detailed though
@JoddyFubuki788 Yeah, it's nice and forgiving, and you can advance to the
F-20 or X-29 and they'll handle similarly. I like the blue but I wish there was a way to pick more detailed/accurate colours
Impressive! I dont know how you did half the stuff on this! Looks like something from Just Cause.
@JoddyFubuki788 I'll take a look, I've got a Wardog F-5 and Razgriz F-20 built too
@JoddyFubuki788 me too! I've got a couple of other AC5/0 jets too, Indigo and Schwarze are my favourites so far!
@Noman0rumeral nope, they're correct. If you imagine pitching down, the main wing needs to make more lift, as it's behind the centre of mass. This force, coupled with the elevators deflecting downwards, will rotate the aircraft about its lateral axis and give you nose down.
@MasterKiryu thanks, glad I could be of service!
@FennVectorCWA hmm thats odd. I downloaded it to my phone to test and it works fine. Make sure you have the latest update?
@FennVectorCWA Really? That's strange, bet it still looks cool though! Are you on mobile or pc?
@Himynameiswalrus haha thanks, I use it for just about everything, it's German for forklift :p
@FennVectorCWA The French were originally part of the EF2000 program, but they wanted a smaller multirole plane. That's why they look very similar I think. The tips were the easiest part, flat surfaces are nice to work with :) Thanks for the praise, appreciate it.
@Liquidfox Thanks! I was struggling with this one, its not an exact replica paint wise, but its pertty close while keeping it mobile friendly.
@RICE I'd need to look at the rules, I'm not very good at building quickly. I tend to follow blueprints and dimensions which can take some time!
@Supercraft888 I've flight tested it myself, it's a lot more stable without all the weight of weapons and fuel, but I wanted to give people the option of removing these parts themselves. @airtrainz thanks, it was originally an F5 in blue camo, that model has bombs and a fuel tank too.
Impressive that you manage to make stuff that looks and flies like the real thing with so few parts, good work
@OrionAstronaut hey thanks, I'm working on a eurofighter now
@RedFalcon thanks, I was just lucky I'd finished an F-5/F-20/X-29 triple build last week!
@Liquidfox I'll take a look, I'm pretty good at getting the patterns right in the wings, but the fuselage is a different story!
@MrDeguello I just checked the weight balance, I must've changed something just before I uploaded it :( as for the stability at speed its a trade off between agility at low speed, which I thought was more important with this one being a dogfight specialists airplane. Thanks for the feedback though!
@Liquidfox nice, what kinda bomb load can it carry? Feel free to upload it to the site man
@Liquidfox I've got an F-4G Heartbreak 1 already done, I think I'd struggle to get the stripes done right but I might give it a go tomorrow night!
Hey I've got a "mig-28" I built last week, can I enter that?
@MrDeguello Yeah I know the feeling, kids these days haha. BTW I finally finished my Gripen if you want to have a go. Any feedback from you would be useful.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation yeah only after you mentioned it though, popped up in the news
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation that was a Gripen, that's on my to do list! Thanks @Booster456 and @Dynamicneedle, I appreciate the comments
The airbrakes in a mig 31 are on the bottom, just in front of the landing gears. Take a look at my schwarze team one and youll see what I mean
@Flash0of0green ahh I see. Nah it's just the knight paint scheme from Ace Combat Zero, similar to the NASA one. I name my planes after whatever squadron flew them in those games you see

Super agile for its size, I like the central guns too. Nice
I like the wheels on this, Should try and put an all moving tailplane on it? And if you can, try building on pc/mac, i just started (hence the 3 planes in quick succession). Nudge tool changes everything!
@Flash0of0green arturo? im not sure what you mean mate
@Fighter thanks, the final evolution of the F-5 series is just getting finished tonight :)
