How to install mods on PC/Mac 6.6 years ago

hey I'm on mac, I've installed the mods i wan to use on EVERY i mean EVERY directory i have found. i need a little help. it won't show the "mods" button at all.

Yes i used VTOL down. and i added some cool fuel tanks more fuel and more to your epic jet of thats alright

So... I have a slight hige problem where when i hit AG3 it explodes but stil goes... So what do i do?! Am i just stupid or do i just fix something small...?
