@TheSavageManZ Well yeah, I agree, those build do contain rather controversial political symbols, but they are there cause that's what they happened to look like (idk about the motorcycle tho). It's just because these controversial political symbols on the car are being used more to relfect/promote your political beliefs, compared to the other symbols, which are there as they more for historical/decorative purposes. I like your builds, but I'm just don't want you to get into trouble sometime soon if this keeps up.
@TheSavageManZ But doesn't the description literally tell you what the symbols actually are supposed to represent? The description also promotes political debate - albiet personally. The car is great, but i'm afraid that these stickers are teetering near rulebreaking. I won't say my opinion on the political matter, but even if I support/defy whatever political beliefs are being promoted on SP, it's still against the site rules to do so.
I don't really think so. I think the current one is fine as it is, since the blocks blend with the cockpit. I think if they were to replace the blocks under the fuselage with a fuselage block, they may need to change the cockpit to a different type/position, or add a new one so that it blends in better. Just my two cents.
This is pretty stupid. I'm surprised they would get offended over it since the set's rendition of the aircraft looks unarmed. I may not be right, but sometime in the 90's or something the LEGO company have to deal with a similar situation from parents complaining about the blaster pieces in certain sets.
Also, the AW609 is a different design, not a civilian conversion of the V-22 btw
Numbers 1,3,4 would be great! I have a broken RC super cub at home that has a similar color scheme as number one, heh
Also, if this plane exceeds a large part count, maybe you should try one of the other schemes for a mobile friendly version? 2 and 5 look perfect for that!
@DClass So you think it should be deleted due to the amount of upvotes it has? Also, only the Sensei of Spice themselves knows how long it took to build
@DClass I think that kind of stuff would probably depend on Spicyninja to decide, but the plane itself is completely ok according to the rules on posts. IMO, I think it should stay because all of the attention was brought here by someone else, not Spicyninja, and also because its compliant with the rules on posts, which means it would probably be kinda mean spirited to delete it instead of quelling the arguments by not bringing them up in the first place (I am probably being a hypocrite here). But idk, to me deleting it just sounds kinda extreme.
@DClass Other than the mass upvoting, it's just a regular noob build, after all. No reason to remove it, since it doesn't violate the rules for posts that i'm aware of. It was however removed by the automod for some time before it was brought back.
@232287168147825 Would that cause some issues with balance? Like what if someone builds an He-51 floatplane fighter but it has to face off against something like a J-20? I get that the dogfighting segment is only for guns, but speed is also an issue here.
I'm definitely interested, however I do have a question. Will there be specific brackets for aircraft from different time periods? I mainly build early WWII aircraft, but I also extend it into postwar jets sometimes.
I really like the theme of this aircraft! I really like the heavily framed leading edge of the aircraft and the interior! The laser sharks are a nice touch as well.
@Gbhole A lot of people like to create songs that use multiple instruments using MIDI software because they either don't have access to some of the instruments or an entire band/orchestra. The soundboard is pretty similar in this case, that it allows people without having to buy multiple instruments for their song and having to either learn them all or trying to find some people that just so happen to play these instruments. And like my earlier point, $200 may not sound like a lot to you, but it can still be a pretty hefty price for others. And besides, you are setting aside the effort that it takes to make a song - figuring out the ideas for the song, the way the instrument(s) would be played in particular parts, revising parts to make it sound better with the song, mastering the song, and a lot of other things. I get that you are disappointed with people not playing instruments as much anymore, but you don't have to know how to play an instrument to have a talent for creating songs.
Also this didn't serve in the Pacific War, right? It's Soviet, and the Soviet Union only declared war on Japan less than a month before the end of the war.
Some people just don't happen to have a 1000+ dollar/pound/euro/whatever currency instrument lying around, if they want to use a soundboard, it could just be used as a cheaper alternative. Some people also like music that comes from one. And the whole "doesn't require talent" thing for making a tune sounds pretty BS. If you ask me it's nice that people are discovering their little talents and creating songs using tools that are becoming more accessible to them.
This is also somewhat generalizing... Not all of today's music comes from this certain instrument...
@QingyuZhou Congrats on 200k! I think it's a really nice Mustang build, glad to see it at a mobile friendly part count (Loving the functional interior and the retracts!). It happens to be pretty maneuverable too, quite a few of my own planes have a hard time fighting this thing. Even though I mostly support the PRC, and am part-mainlander, I'm not at all offended, but happy about seeing more ROCAF aircraft on this website! I think that we should just set our political ideologies aside and just build planes and enjoy others builds no matter the origin of country of the aircraft :). (By the way, have you heard of the Chu X-P0 and XP-1? They are indigenous Chinese aircraft from WWII and are probably some of the most obscure aircraft from the war. You should check them out!)
I would like to see that ballast block have capability to make airships by making it buoyant enough. Also would like to see more AI ships/better AI that can use things like turrets on user created ships in case this update is implemented.
That’s an awesome HUD!
+1Hi
+1I’m just happy we are sharing our drawings on the forums now :)
+1Nice to know another person on SP draws Pokémon
+1YO SOBBLE
+1Create a whale carrier like the one on your Nightmare map, but in SP. Congrats on 100k mate!
+1@frame Yeah, now that I think of it, it does kinda look like the Argus-class SSTO
+1I love seeing this Wii nostalgia come back in the form of SP maps
+1This ship is extremely well done.

+1@CobraHueyIndustries good
+1Climate change
+1I cannot type in the IP address box that opens when you hit the MP button. Has that happened to anyone?

+1This is like the SP equivalent of Minecraft with RTX on
+1Didn’t this whale have the largest teeth of any animal, ever?
+1I love the flying characteristics of this machine, as well as the floats

+1hm, I guess it's too late for my entry to be added into the bracket now
+1I had gotten it added as a successor
Happy SP birthday! I guess we share SP birthdays, lol
+1Dang 4 years already...
+1I’ll try to get a mod to tag it as one then, because I don’t know what happened with uploading it
+1I'm not in the bracket? I made a plane for this challenge but it wasn't marked as a successor even when I used the same cockpit
+1She looks like shes had enough
+1All these comments about salt remind me of that one comment on da bes truk on da sp about the number of salt grains you can own
+1Truly the best turnfighter of WWII

+1I didn't know there were more flying turtles.
+1420 downloads, I must not download it
+1The banana of doom
+1What was the old description?
+1@232287168147825 @232287168147825 Ok, another question, are the guns going to be wing guns specifically? Or are cannons and miniguns allowed?

+1Can't wait to see the results of the challenge!
