It's actually cause he farms upvotes. If you scroll down on his builds (and forum posts), he basically tags a bunch of people, with and without their consent. The people tagged are then obligated to upvote it, which is reflected by the peculiarly low download/upvote ratio on his builds.
I think that instead of him spending time on tagging people in his posts he should be really be taking some advice. He doesn't take kindly to negative criticism, only looking at the positive ones, even promoting it. Hopefully he changes this and looks at both, cause his fellow friends appear to be babying him instead of providing some useful advice to help his planes fly better.
Ok everyone, I've decided to do some research into this cause I was curious where it started. KoR has been tagging people on his builds ever since his first one. It appears he had originally done it to show to his former friend, Cobrahuey, what he had made. After a few builds, he had began adding people into tagging through requests and through asking. The first unsolicited tagging that happened (I think) was with Dclass, since I couldn't find any interactions between the two before he began tagging them. I may be wrong.
Sweet tea is a popular style of iced tea commonly consumed in countries such as the United States (especially common in the southern United States) and Indonesia. Sweet tea is most commonly made by adding sugar or simple syrup to black tea either while the tea is brewing or still hot, although artificial sweeteners are also frequently used. Sweet tea is almost always served ice cold. It may sometimes be flavored, most commonly with lemon but also with peach, raspberry, or mint. The drink is sometimes tempered with baking soda to reduce its acidity.
@AbuHafsh cause it would be more civilized if we don't bring that up. It adds to anger, making us sound less helpful and more hateful to him. Besides, with those big dramas we've had through this year, I think a lot of us are tired of another large one happening.
The aircraft's planform is a far cry from what the TBF's actual planform looked like. The wings are not only mid mounted, but the stabilizers are far too small for its weight. As a result, this affects the flight characteristics of the aircraft greatly, as it requires a much higher takeoff speed, and stalls way too easily. This plane is simply too heavy for its wings. The additional weight created by the crappy fuselage wings and the wonky details like the airbrakes, parachutes (why), weirdly placed lights, among other things, exacerbates this. The fuselages on the wings go over the control surfaces and looks weird when you see the control surfaces popping out of the wing while flying it, too. The gear also pops out of the plane’s wings when you retract them, and that’s just because of the awful choice of gear you have there (the TutorialPlane uses that kind of gear in that arrangement because there is enough space inside the engine nacelles for the gear to retract into.) Something I do not get is the extra ailerons connected to the yaw axis, which creates a forced Dutch roll affect. I have no idea why that is there, Dutch roll is usually something you would want to avoid. The normal ailerons are also clipping through those weird yaw ones, and only extend to the middle. The control surfaces on the elevator and rudder are too small, even on the tiny stabilizers they are mounted on, and yet the plane still stalls out from too much elevator deflection in combination to the immense amount of weight placed onto the wings.
Now, for the positives. As a person that likes putting working gun turrets on planes it was at least a pleasant surprise for this mess of a plane to have one onboard. The use of those hollow fuselages was smart, too. I’ll probably implement that into some of my future airplanes actually
TL;DR, the plane is indeed pretty crappy in construction choices and flying characteristics and has barely any pluses.
The fact that there are intractable objects like logs, crates, and vehicle models on this island is pretty impressive, as well as the vegetation and the detailed docks. Too bad I'm on iOS. Take notes, devs!
How come there is no new stock plane for this update? Usually new updates mean new stock planes that incorporate new features, such as 1.8's Gator 2 (heli parts) and 1.9's Jackhammer (cannon).
Dang i like the clever little details like the use of blinking lights for the exhaust flames and the discarding bullet casings, and the simple yet effective artificial horizon, just to name a few!
ice base more like ASS base!!!!!!!!!

+7It's at a rather unlucky number in that screenshot there lol
+6The day has come! IOS file support! Glass! Smoothing! ExplosionScale!
+6@Hellosss38 it got those upvotes cause people liked it, and thought it was cool. KoR's planes got most of their upvotes cause of mass tagging.

+3Just found out. I really liked Treadmill's approach to designing planes and his lore. I do wonder where he had gone to.
+3Oh boy, someone's gonna make an entire text-based Role Playing Game with this using Funky Trees.
