@Dabomb37 well most of my creativity comes in the form of building something to perform something. and then continuing to just modify test. modify again. and make it better.
When I first saw it I thought it would be worse than what it was. fairly unique design. with the actuall body turning and such.
very unique suspension system too. it works. it really does work. Howver I do feel it is a bit over engineerd for the reults we have. a few simple additions of hinges to one end of the shocks could create the side wobble you're looking for in it. and a few other changes.
but honestly it is pretty good.
Few things worth mentioning.
A: you didn't add any suspensoin.
B: you used hinge rotators instead of the actuall turning all wheels can have. you bvously know how to change hte size. why didn't you just add a turning angle?
C: very slow
@AndrewGarrison By the way I'm not sure if this is a bug. but if part of yoru vehicle breaks. some times hinges which are set to floppy will completely lock up and no longer move.
I just modified this thing. fixed all the problems with it. suspension is fixed and optimized. added a second engine. made the body more stream line to the frame. removed your weird turning mechnisim becuase it is not needed. (there is a setting called turn angle). I hope you like it.
by the way. just to let you know. you set the range of motion on all the hinges to 0. so your suspension can't move. it has to be set to 90 degrees and floppy. to work.
Its neat but you didn't really acomplish much. it seems you are good with rotators. but. other wise not much done. was hoping to see you do a bit more with it.
@Dabomb37 you don't need the beta version. honestly I'm not sure why that message is still there. because the beta version is simply the update that is out now.
@Dabomb37 regardless. As I said. nothing wrong with modifying another vehicle. but its best you learn how to build from scratch your self. I'd say we need to start with suspension. I'll uh make an unlisted post that I will mention you on. that should help with that.
@Dabomb37 well no thats fine. I even mentioend you on a post that you should be able to see. for your own use. I'm just saying. you won't be able to build off a the base of what other people make forever. it would probably be best if you just learned how to build the base components your self at the very least.
@Dabomb37 well it works but I think its best if you learn how to make one. which begins in learning how to build a suspension. (which most cars will need)
@Dabomb37 yea they sort of do. I mean i mostly build for function. as I'm not good at making something look good and function good. so they all end up looking similar
@Dabomb37 your other creations aren't bad (they're actually quite creative) but they're not that good either. Just keep improving your'e not doing too bad.
Fairly nice. not the most pretty looking but nice. it handles good. bit of stability problems but a vertical wing can fix that. the suspension handles nicly. the jets. really aren't needed. and the shocks you have in the body there. don't do any thing. because you have the top and bottom connected at the front and back. those shocks in the middle of the body are only adding weight.
Overall however. pretty nice.
Fast but horribly unstable. wants to take off at higher speeds. and due to how you have the wing controls setup sucks at turning. as well as no suspension travel. bounces off any tiny bump.
honestly very well made. very stable (like really I am very impressed how stable this thing drives). it has a nice and smooth suspension. The only thing I could say is bad about it is it has a slight problem with some of the heavier jumps seen in the 2 car races (altho preparing for that makes for a very bouncy suspension) so really. good work.
@Jayv210 because only steam has special optoins to opt in/ out of a beta which you can change at any time. thus you did not get the beta. however the full update is out here.
Just for the record if you want an easier way to make down force. attach wings to the vehicle. and make them face forwards/backwards. from there you can simply make them angle properly with the ditheaderal.
Fairly good. however. just in case you don't know. you should try using different types of body parts. if you open the structural tab. and go to the very bottom. fuselage body and nose cone (something like that) you should be using those mainly. you can customize their size and shape to what ever you want. put fuel in them. make them float. add weight. etc. its a lot better to use than these parts.
@AndrewGarrison so. when are the tournaments starting? can't wit for indie air race and the off road tracks. :3
btw when you do, do indie air race. KEEP IT UNLIMITED. I would absolutely love seeing prop air planes fighting the smallest jet engine size. It would be the first time where the smallest jet engines in a tournament setting. tiny jets vs propeller engines. sounds awesome just thinking about it.
So when are the next tournaments going to be done? excited to see some of the car races. especially off road. or maybe indie air race. that would be an awesome change of pace for the races.
@jamesPLANESii I like that logic
@DogeMaster14 Ok what do you want?
@Tully2001 You planning on making an off roader any time soon?
@Tully2001 certainly charge but I still don't understand how you got that thing to perform so well.
@Dabomb37 well most of my creativity comes in the form of building something to perform something. and then continuing to just modify test. modify again. and make it better.
@tully2001 A vehicle to top charge

You're really not doing much with these are you? I kinda expected you to do more... something a bit creative...
Few things worth mentioning.

@Dabomb37 actually this one wasn't for you. it was just a fix on another persons vehicle. but if you can learn from it. all the better :3
@Dabomb37 bit confusing to learn at first. but in reaily its quite easy once you understand it.
@AndrewGarrison By the way I'm not sure if this is a bug. but if part of yoru vehicle breaks. some times hinges which are set to floppy will completely lock up and no longer move.
@Dabomb37 power of learning how to build a suspension properly
@AndrewGarrison can't wait :3

@Dabomb37 you don't need the beta version. honestly I'm not sure why that message is still there. because the beta version is simply the update that is out now.
@Dabomb37 its a simple buggy. just add some style that you like :P
@Dabomb37 regardless. As I said. nothing wrong with modifying another vehicle. but its best you learn how to build from scratch your self. I'd say we need to start with suspension. I'll uh make an unlisted post that I will mention you on. that should help with that.

@Dabomb37 alright then lets talk here so we don't fill up that car with comment section spam.
@Dabomb37 that said if you want give this one a try.
@Dabomb37 well it works but I think its best if you learn how to make one. which begins in learning how to build a suspension. (which most cars will need)
@Dabomb37 allright. do you have any thing you can talk to me with? like a steam? because building cars is a lot more complicated than planes.
@Dabomb37 that said. if you want. I can help you. All I would need to know is do you want to focus on cars or planes? or both?
@Dabomb37 oh I just realized you changed your icon. didn't realize it was you at first :P
@Dabomb37 yea they sort of do. I mean i mostly build for function. as I'm not good at making something look good and function good. so they all end up looking similar

@AndrewGarrison when the tournaments do start up again. do you plan on doing car races first or another air track?
also intakes (while a nice visual touch) only add drag and weight.
@Jayv210 because only steam has special optoins to opt in/ out of a beta which you can change at any time. thus you did not get the beta. however the full update is out here.

bit lumpy and awkward body don't you think? plus rudder seems a bit too far forward.
@AndrewGarrison so. when are the tournaments starting? can't wit for indie air race and the off road tracks. :3

@LiamW actually like I said I"m on a crap top so 400 parts is where I begin to approach my limits.
@Lickster off road wheels have better traction off road. same with tractor. street wheels have better on road. normal wheels are a middle ground.
@SuperSanic and my craptop can handle 400 parts. but maywar some times gives me troubles.
@SuperSanic mayar is too large for mobile. its hard to run tbh.
So when are the next tournaments going to be done? excited to see some of the car races. especially off road. or maybe indie air race. that would be an awesome change of pace for the races.
As well as @bspboy 's which funny enough was racing mine :P
Holy crap I didn't even realize until now but my car is in the trailer :D:D:D (as well as yours @tully2001 )
@Spazomano thats not new. that was in 1.4
@CoolMudDud they only attack if you attack them first.
@Meltingvenus1999 its called you built your car backwards. so you need to reverse the wheels.
