@Kimfri lol, I loved that video, I see a couple squatted trucks on facebook marketplace around me and I think I might buy one to run it through the mud
Looks good for a first creation, my initial suggestions with the design would be to check your controls on the rear wheels because one of them responds to yaw controls (E and Q) while the steering is obviously meant to respond to roll controls (A and D). I would also set your engines to respond to your pitch controls (W and S), this'll make your design much more intuitive. I would also remove all but one engine, multiple engines don't really help but for very niche situations that you'll encounter later in your building career. The suspension using axles is pretty good but I would suggest using some rotators and make the axles thinner, only one block rather than three. I have some older designs on my profile you could take a look at for suspension ideas but they require a mod to make the rotators as small as I have them. Fine Tuner and Overload are both on the steam workshop and they both help a lot.
@jacephysicsboss I think I'll stay doing my own thing for now, I'll comment if that changes. If you ever want to use anything I create then feel free to, I have some suspension stuff I'm working on that might interest you :)
@jacephysicsboss I'd love the opportunity but I'm not very good at building good looking models, I'm much more interested in building suspension systems and interesting things on the technical side
To avoid having to put a gyro on the aircraft, shift the weight or wings so that the center of lift (blue circle when you pull them up) is behind the center of mass (red circle). To pull them up click the three lines at the top right of the builder screen and click the three circles balanced on the triangle. Good luck :)
Really awesome build, suspension stood up to some mild testing. Looks much better than my own vehicle builds lol. I hope this build gets a lot more attention :)
I actually like what you have here, if you star working with fuselages and extend the tail a but then you could make it perform really well. Use fuselages for their weight distribution ability, it'll make it easier to balance the whole thing.
Love it, beautiful flyer, those big wings make for a great experience and I love the flaps. I've been going around harassing the bots with the gun for the past 30 minutes without realizing it so you'll hear no complaints from me.
I'd suggest you put roll input on the main wings and pitch input on the tail. If you didn't know that's how normal aircraft operate and leads to better pitch and roll control. It looks great though and I hope for more models of the same quality :)
I suggest using less area for the roll control surfaces that way it more matches the pitch, also use something different for the nose because the intake looks off. As a final suggestion I'd look into making your own custom landing gear so that the build looks better. Other than that the build is fantastic, I'm looking forward to more :)
Dang good flyer, one thing is that it hates to lose speed, like there's no drag on it which is pretty annoying when trying to intercept or escort or even land it. It's a beautiful plane though and flies like a dream.
Try to list the action groups in the description of the vehicle. Also maybe change the angle limit on the canards so the pitch is smoother rather than being so jumpy. Other than that it's a good plane, I hope to see more from you :)
This is awesome, well done :)
+2@Kimfri lol, I loved that video, I see a couple squatted trucks on facebook marketplace around me and I think I might buy one to run it through the mud
Fantastic build
I run into this same problem lol
+1Awesome build, the exposed rotators remind me of simpler times
Was the gun made from the MK-2 AA gun by GhostTeam?

Modified does Riding Dirty in about 1:49, definitely not a fast girl
Very nice truck
Sorry for bothering you with all these posts, I just like what you post and wanted to see if I could help at all lol
+1https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/T1y03g/Mini-Mig-23a
+1@blindspot61 I messed around with it a little bit in a post I made, it gets rid of the all moving tail and uses control surfaces instead
+1Also you should set up tags on these posts so that they get more attention :)
+1Have you considered setting the rotators on the rear to pitch so that pitch controls the stabilators/stabilizers?
+1Hey! This looks like my truck
+1So fun to fly

Not a bad start, keep it up :)

Very nice simple build with great flying characteristics, can't complain :)
Very nice suspension system :)

@LuciferOfPoland Definitely lmao
Great build, my eyes loved it but my computer didn't lol

Very nice plane, I suggest you add trim by creating a rotator and setting the input to trim and it'll allow you to trim out the pitch of the aircraft.
@BroAeronautics interesting tidbit, I never thought about that
Try increasing the size of the ailerons and elevons, other than that it's a great build and I like how it flies :)
@JediWolf No problem brother, there's no better reason to build these planes :)
A little bit too much pitch authority, but other than that it's a great little plane :)
Very nice flyer :)
Very nice build, flies well
Awesome build :)

Very nice flyer
Really nice plane
Has an ugly tendency to depart controlled flight at low speed, but overall I love the concept and build, can't wait for more :)

Nice Plane, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who entered the competition lol
@SpimiRemun Thank you for the compliment :) Yeah it's a bit aerobatic-challenged as some would say

Really good plane, a little unstable at low speeds but really fun to fly around :)
@CruzerBlade Thank you so much
@Dllama4 That's a shame
@RailfanEthan I'm on PC
Isn't this how they made the Merkava?
