  • ERCO ERCOUPE - The living legend 5.2 years ago

@Notnoob1000 You are so lucky, we don't have many ercoupes in Europe. Do you remember where it had the trim tabs?
@ACEPILOT109 It's not that hard, you can just add them like a normal schematic on designer suite, but I believe that the good part is the plane it self.
@MrSilverwolf thanks for the vote and spotlight

  • Tutorial heli-no gyros- for sandboxman 5.2 years ago

No gyro and pretty fast (above 140mph) .

  • Please Help Me :( 5.2 years ago

Ok, fist thing when you make a heli. DON'T USE GYROS , helicopters have a gyroscopic function in they main rotor. Second CoM must be under the main rotor, or little in front of it to have some momentum. Third you don't need to use jet engines, they can fly perfectly by them selfs. If you want to gain more speed download the mod "overload" and erase some drag (if you don't know how to do that ask me) .
Please remember to also zero the weight of the tail rotor because it can create a sideways motion. Also you have much fuel (helicopters in SP are very economical like...15galons to 100 miles) and your engines are so overpowered, 500-700hp are enough for most creations . I make a successor heli to use as example.

  • Please Help Me :( 5.2 years ago

I will give it a try earlier today

  • ERCO ERCOUPE - The living legend 5.2 years ago

  • ERCO ERCOUPE - The living legend 5.2 years ago

@toxicgamer88 thanks toxic in Greece we don't have ercoupes bud we have some fantastic socatas. Are you going to Athens flying week?

  • F-104G 5.2 years ago

Classic. Keep up the good work. If you like I have some rare photos from f-104 cockpit for a future build. :-)

  • ERCO ERCOUPE - The living legend 5.2 years ago

@EternalDarkness I was wondering if I could do that, very good advice. I will make an unlisted version with mechanical instruments by Gestour, I'll add it there. Thank you very much for the votes and the spotlight. Happy flights !

  • ERCO ERCOUPE - The living legend 5.2 years ago

@ND40X thanks and all the instruments work. Happy flights

@EternalDarkness Ah you caught me on that ! I wasn't sure about the date, this is why the post is plain "Erco Ercoupe". Thanks for the observation . Do you think i should add the venturi tubes ? All the instruments are mechanic.

  • ERCO ERCOUPE 5.2 years ago

    @toxicgamer88 thanks toxic :-)

ERCO ERCOUPE "T" to be tagged.

  • The true power of a Rubber-Band. (Teaser!) 5.2 years ago

@AWESOMENESS360 or u can use rotators set with a specific amound of spins...
Nice little plane, I remember these ☺

  • Engine Types: Part 2 (Axial Flow Jets) 5.2 years ago

Great article. I have 2 questions. The first is how a jet engine ignites the fuel in the burner? And the second, I have seen recently electric jets , if we don't have gas expanding in the burner how did they work?

  • The problem with spotlights 5.2 years ago

Usually platinum players have a small network of followers witch is way better from spotlights.

  • The true power of a Rubber-Band. (Teaser!) 5.2 years ago

This is powered plane? It has an engine.?

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@BogdanX As you know there is nothing really mandatory in life. There are obligations and opportunitys, flying an ercoupe belongs to the second category...

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@Brields95 Ok I am little confused because I live outside the states. Young eagles is a volunteer program in aeroclubs regarding promotion of aviation in young people , right? How they construct coups? They rebuild them from old planes, or Ercoupes are stil producing from a private company in a factory ?

  • Woah it is time for replicas again. 5.2 years ago

@belugasub it wasn't only you, all the site uses the phrase "t or vote to be tagged" . Even modurators in their teasers LOL, but ok rules are rules. Again sorry for the trouble, when are you going to upload ?

  • Woah it is time for replicas again. 5.2 years ago

@Tully2001 LOL this was not my intention in the first place, but now you understand that votes in forum promotes the article. Can this be named empathy vote? Or begging ?
I apologize for the trouble, maybe we need to change little bit the general rule in teasers.
Belugasub, sorry to used you beautiful theme as an example. It was a positive example...I insure you. It looks very nice, please tag me.

  • Woah it is time for replicas again. 5.2 years ago

@tully2001 regarding your last comment about upvotes. One of many teasers of course . But in this it has your upvote... 😔
Great teaser from belugasub and it seems a very good build. I am upvoting and please also T .
Perhaps we need to specify little more the topic in forums.

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@Brields95 wow what a great detail, it's still in production today ?

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@Tully2001 Noted and changed in the main article. All the past three weeks it was the general rule in teasers, or not ?

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@HarryBen47 these pants are back in fashion. 😎

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@BlackhattAircraft you are very lucky, ercoupes are rare site in Europe. Aeroclubs are willing to buy them for their members, but support it's problematic .

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@Jim1the1Squid You don't have to vote or tagged if don't like it. Also the votes in the forum only gives 2points (witch is nothing). Anyway this is a teaser of the most popular aircraft in the 1940. Still 2000 airplanes of the type are flying today. This is an amazing task for a truly AMAZING airplane ! If you liked the teaser, the votes are only meant to promote it to other readers.

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

@Awsomur LoL nobody, but it is very cold up there. :-D

  • The most fun thing you can do, wearing all your clothes 5.2 years ago

Still needs some work in the interior and some final details.
It has all the realistic flying characteristic, even the 95hp engine...
For those who are not familiar with this classic aircraft, will follow a historical retrospective.

  • SC-90 5.2 years ago

  • Olympic 460c FX w/ 50HP 5.2 years ago

  • Olympic 460c FX w/ 50HP 5.2 years ago

It is really fun, especially the anchor very beautiful idea. It's worth downloading. You always need a cruise to the islands. Congrats very cool build.
You know you can use rotators for the engine...

  • Scout Eagle (Update) 5.2 years ago

@jamesPLANESii oh when a flight controller refer to your registration number outside your regional airport , doesn't pronounce county codes ? The Ag cat it's a fantastic idea , I have a wip. Now I am almost finishing an 1945 erco ercoupe. When it's ready can I bother you for some feedback ?

  • Scout Eagle (Update) 5.2 years ago

Scout Eagle Zulu, kilo, mike, oscar, alpha you are clear to taxi.
Now I had the opportunity to try it.
A lovely plane, I didn't catch the original, but that's great. I love the fact that it's not a replica and you've put your own realistic lead. The landing gears are flawless, and so are the flaps. Also amazing work with prop Wash. Fantastic ruder and very special "engine". It is a pity that the site does not appreciate civil aviation. This little airplane is ideal for crosswind landings.
What are you up to next?

  • The effects of aviation travel on the human body. Part three. 5.2 years ago

@BACconcordepilot I think there is no cure, some cells that are in a state of oxidative stress if they no longer receive destructive stimuli can be saved. But beyond that, ribosomes cannot respond to repair. What is the WD-40?

  • Melis-kx1 5.2 years ago

@Keml Sure, first make a fake wing from fuselage, shape it to the correct size and shape. After that take a normal wing and stick it inside the fake. If the normal wing don't have the right dimensions shrink it with overlord mod. The shrinking does not affect lift. Also for more advanced work you can divide the wing in 3 sectors. The first front sector (leading edge) has larger height and the other 2. It's like making the shape of a droplet. I will tell you what can we do, i will tag you in one of my unlisted work in progress airplanes to use as an example.
