@Shippy456 That is unfortunate news.. All the shocks connect to the center piece at the top of their hoop. What physics settings are you using? I run all my settings on high.
@Sadboye12 oh I see. Yes... yes it did. I also only get little bits of build time in over months because life lol. I’ve also never used overload or funky trees so it was a long study as well. Thank you for recognizing the effort I put in here.
Thanks @Mumpsy Ive had this held up in the testing phase for a couple months now. The aim was a realistic suspension and driving experience out of the gate but with SP terrain conquering capability on command. Something for everybody. It’s based on 5th generation Hilux models, yes.
Well built and presented. A friend of mine drove one of these in school. You could use some additional linkage or even a track bar though. The axles shift side to side on uneven terrain. Use chase view off the corner of the rear bumper and observe the wheels in relation to each other and the body.
@ThePilotDude Sure. Those weren’t chanceys words though. I support constructive criticism. But you don’t tell someone they built a brick without intending to insult them. Go fly every TIE on the first few pages of the Star Wars tag list (many of which bear chanceys stamp of approval). It’s flight characteristics are comparable. Only reallouchen9999 makes an obvious superior.
@Chancey21 You know we can’t fire the ion engines in the inner atmosphere!
Seriously though I hate to get snarky with someone who already dropped a much appreciated spot n vote... But on a scale of “brick” to movie prop, you sounded like a frankfurter.
@417115450 Thank you. You should consider adding a short description. Especially to modified builds so they are not mistaken for duplicates and removed. You can still edit your description after uploading with the little arrow button next to the number of downloads.
Technically magnificent my friend! I’m definitely going to be dishing out some vigilante justice with my bare fists and a batwing after work tonight. Thank you for this.
I appreciate what you did here dude but fair warning: most people on this site will attempt to bite your head off if you don’t give credit for borrowing assemblies. Keep building though! You have good taste ;)
Well done. There are a lot of modifications here. Though the front wheel is rigid, the original rear suspension still works properly and many moving parts have been replaced or added.
@Dantheman108 Thanks for the heads-up dude! It seems like one of the updates has inverted the two port side (left) wing rotators. They are a lighter color than the craft and partially exposed. Swap the direction in the settings and you should be all set. You can actuate the wings on the ground to check your work.
@aircraftarsenal123 Thanks dude! I hope it helps. Some of this suspension is hard to decipher with all the nudging and body panels but my Cragjakyl is exactly the same thing but a little cleaner to look at. As far as four-links go in SP, it's really about the double jointed attach points throughout. This allows full articulation and parallel travel, rather than the typical see-saw action seen in most builds of the like. A little tip from the FeatureBot ;)
Drop me a line if you have any questions. I love me a serious suspension build. I already follow you so I'll keep an eye out for your post.
Also the "driveshafts" aren't necessary but if you're adding them I recommend zero value shocks in the center to maintain full range of motion.
@denialofservice I am aware. I’m saying the game doesn’t accommodate watercraft, especially submersibles, the way it does aircraft and even land vehicles now. There are no vanilla parts that support their existence.
Nice turbo bugger! Only problem is the the drivers side front suspension linkage is stuck and the forward shock above has a common connection bug. You can fix shock/piston connections by rotating them end over end. The linkage you will just have to mess with and look for even loading in the simulator. These are usually results of mirroring. I recommend building all tightly spaced moving parts separately.
I like what you’re doing, keep it up!
@EternalDarkness Thanks for the spotlight and "modified hold-out blaster" my man. I understand dealing with "the exchange" can be dangerous. ...KOTOR stuff. Sorry, couldn't help myself...
@SledDriver Much appreciation my friend.
@TheHandBurgler lol. Do you now poses the strength of two teenagers?

@TheLatentImage Thanks brother! It’s good to be back for a minute.
@aircraftarsenal123 Thanks dude. You totally should. I very much enjoyed that build.

@BuiltBionixInd10 Thanks! Long darn time in the making.
@aircraftarsenal123 I have a couple more pics n gifs. I’ll see what I can whip up for the forum.
Anytime. Nice truck!
I have a fair amount of experience with 4x4 suspension irl. Feel free to drop me a line if you have questions or want to chat.

I very much like the way this is built
If SP came out 7 years ago, maybe SP2 is already out!
@SupremeDorian You absolutely should! I usually take a lot of time with my designs and this one came together faster than most for me.

If I didn’t see that with my own crossed eyes, I wouldn’t believe it...

Nasty! Honestly not overly steamy either. I like.
Saw your name out there. Hope you’re still building buddy :)
See this jeep in action!

Where the Heli You Been?
@Leehopard excellent. I’ll experiment with it when I can. This is one of the most interesting applications of the new system I’ve seen. Great work.
@417115450 These trucks show obvious improvement in your skills as a builder. Keep it up!

@WarHawk95 Obviously. I’m asking @417115450 what they did to make this build worth posting for a second round of upvotes.
What 11 parts make it different from this one?
There’s nothing quite like hauling logs and spare parts through the scenic hills of Chernobyl. Nice truck!
Was still able to download without beta.. neato. Always a good time poking holes in boats with the latest sled.
Suspension still functions smoothly. Great job! Looks cool!
Suspension still works nicely. Great job! I suggest swapping your throttle control to pitch so you also have reverse.
Technically magnificent my friend! I’m definitely going to be dishing out some vigilante justice with my bare fists and a batwing after work tonight. Thank you for this.

Schwifty.

Absolutely unbelievable as usual my friend
Well done

Engineering that arouses.. XD
Very cool
Killin' it guys! I'm excited to see how the website linkage works out. Danga' zone!

It's been said space won't happen in SP so the way I see it, the sea is the final frontier. I vote yes on subsea cameras and simulation optimization.

"Groovy" ..great choice of category title.
Wakescar is the name of a comic book I never finished
The mines are brilliant
Great build dude! I'm a suspension fanatic myself
Nice dude!

@SledDriver Thanks for the spot n vote dude!
Woah! 😵
