@hypnotoad first off thanks so much for taking the time to put such a detailed comment. For you simple planes must be near enough a full time job replying to everyone - so thanks again. COM/COL wise. Ive moved it everywhere you can think of. When I first built the plane it was right at the front - so I thought that was why it was nose heavy. I moved it back and back and back again (hence the huge rear control wings) and tbh it didn't make much difference. I left it where it was as it was the best for agility.
I then thought it was the way the front wings where angled - ie pointing downwards. Again changed all that with no changes ? So put it back. It seems that "sideways " mounted wings Dont have a lot of emphasis compared to normally mounted. (Hope that makes sense). Anyways in the end I had to cheat and but the manual trim control in. I will definitely still take a look at this - but not for a bit. This one really cooked my suede!
I also have to make a massive thanks as well. I did borrow the structural wing with control surface thing - The XML edit on that is actually easy. Also saw you discussing about negative weight fuel tanks - so slung them in too.
As for the community - there are some very helpful fellows out there and its good company to keep. I think that most people are happy to see an interesting idea - be it from a newbie or yourself. Its good to encourage people - after all it means more planes / ideas for me!
All the best buddy
Solid effort. Pitch needs to be better and landing gear is positioned well - when you put power down on runway the plane falls forward. Good looking plane and cool bomb bay doors.
Hyper manovreable ? No kidding. Super impressed with this build. Its got unique looks and your control surface layout has given me something to think about. Very cool
You made training wheels for me! :-D thanks for getting me up in the air with this - I appreciate the work you've done. Also I'm not sure if I mentioned before - but bitchin colour scheme!
@ODST627 my piloting skills aren't amazing but I can't keep it in a straight line to hit the requested 130mph (water). And starting mid air - probably because its folded when you start - it just tumbles and I can't pull out of it. I checked and I'm running high physics - so mystery. Great design none the less.
Genuinely can't get this thing to fly. I've vtoled up to top and I can't get it to take off the water - I even started mid air and it still tumbles? Only thing I can think is your physics settings are set different?
The drifter drifts! Yeah I think your diddy horizontal stab is causing the Tokyo drift there. Pretty solid other than that. Awesome colour scheme and description
@ZFM99 no streds at all buddy - your feedback is always appreciated whenever it comes
@zfm99 @hypnotoad did you guys work out a way to keep in contact other than in game in the end?
Literally what's left to say? Perfect everything ....as always
I like tearing down others planes and making my own versions. Learn a lot that way too
Well its original! The part count hurts my phone a little
Also your PPM (Planes Per Minute) is crazy :-D
@TheFreakyWatermelon - not as cool as your user ID :-)
I feel bad for the little guy - no mummy or daddy plane - left to fend for itself
Ticks all the boxes. Have 5
Slick as a slick thing
Very unique design - I like the "flames" coming out the back. A joy to fly
You really do make pretty planes
@ZFM99 @JShay. Thanks so much for the support as always - makes such a difference when people take the time to feedback.
@mkenz. You got out essayed :-D glad you liked

Yeah telling people.not to.use full throttle........POWER
Manual trim control is nice. Needs more pitch. Looks great - and cool landing gear
@Jarjarinks hey I just realised. Its your "whale" I made a successor to months ago. Did you see it?
@Jarjarinks credit where its due mate !
Ah big improvement especially with pitch. Really nice. Shame your design doesn't allow for retractable gear.
Best
@StaticSpud absolutely - if you do update - tag me. All the beat
It is fun -as in its mental :-D. Pitch needs work - roll is great and it looks great
Waaaaaay too cool
Not perfect but looks great
Solid effort. Pitch needs to be better and landing gear is positioned well - when you put power down on runway the plane falls forward. Good looking plane and cool bomb bay doors.
@StealthBomber thanks much for the info on the -be fuel. Has solved a week long problem!
Nice bit of XML ....ery
Slick
Nice and solid build

No description ? Let the plane do the talking :-D
@srduval hey I'm not down with the kids - thanks for keeping me in the loop :-D
Wow - that is all
5 stars for looks / effort gone into this
Very very cool and unusual
Yep VTOL is a bitch. As the others have said COM exactly on COT. The only other thing I'd say is that it seems to work better on larger craft
Yeah this floating wing thing is really slick. Loving the work
Another sideways take off :-D not that it matters. Gets in the air easily - where it flies really well. Lovely little plane
So pretty. You really do need to keep with the 3D. I know its a ball ache but it produces much more interesting ideas. A joy to fly as always.

For the design at least
Silky smooth and stable - looks sleek too
Genuinely can't get this thing to fly. I've vtoled up to top and I can't get it to take off the water - I even started mid air and it still tumbles? Only thing I can think is your physics settings are set different?
Doesn't fly so well - but looks great
Super super cool. Floating parts are gonna be the next big thing no doubt! Also why the piss poor roll?
Hey cool build. Like it
Looks great - well balanced. Had to knock a star off as pitch needs MOAR
