@PlanesOfOld see from.my side of the fence I didn't have any of this foolishness. I got 4/5 stars and was happy with that. I always made sure that if I gave less than 5 I wrote why. When used correctly it was better. The thing I most liked was you could give newbies a boost. 3 stars - good start etc. You constantly now see forums with people moaning about not getting seen. So unless you do make friends - or your incredible - it's so hard to get noticed. I agree the old system ended up screwed for the reasons you said. The new system defo needs tweaking somehow.

@Kimo dude we had 1 rule! MAKE SURE IT FINISHES. having said that - mine has crashed a couple times but if got away with it. I tried it a few times before I entered and it was reliable so I find it strange
@Kimo I tried to improve your plane. The slightest change and it went to poo. All I've done is enter my prop plane. (215) slow but every time. I give up lol
@Kimo ok so I've been making something tonight and il admit I'm struggling. I essentially was going to do what you've done but I've tried to be different again....... May have to start again but probs wont make deadline
@Kimo@Kimo you say it's slow. What kind of times are people getting?! I personally don't think I'd do much better. You've gone for VTOL which I would (fast spool up time and thrust vectoring) and you have gone for the 3 wing layout that seems to be doing well in the comps.

@Kimo the "dolphin" effect.... I think it's because the AI does full everything. When you fly your self you don't always give it full pitch/roll. I think the AI does.
And every time I try to make a simple plane - but it just gets mad. Next time I promise it's gonna be basic.......honest.
@Kimo I literally do not possess the knowledge to make a craft that definitely won't crash. The AI is waaay too unpredictable. Hell sometimes it looks like it aims the plane at an obstacle - then takes 0 avoiding action :-D.

@PlanesOfOld don't take it so literally. I was just being nice. Most of mine - the only XML I use is structural wings with CS.

I set the prop pitch to auto and it completed the course in 145 instead of 2mins.
