@Mustang51
Hi, I don't understand. I set the pitch to manual. My HP is at the lowest 1500. But the propeller kept overspeed and explode. Do you know what is the problem. BTW I have change the COM to slightly forward of the vertical thrust (so that when the plane lifted off, it won't move backward) and it now can hover longer.
@Mustang51
Thank you so much for the offer. Hope I am not a bother to you. I am not familiar with how to apply input to those various options. Need to do trial and error. And I also use the right thing in a wrong way too. . lol. . like I just blew 2 propellers after setting it to manual just now.. lol. .
@Mustang51
Oh, I didn't realize I can do that. . lol. You see, there are still many thing I don't know on the available options. There are many things I can learn from you. I'll look into it and see if I can make it better. Thank you for your input. . Appreciate it. . :)
@Mustang51
Have you check out my you-tube video on how to lift off and fly. The link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZEaU0ajrGQ. It takes some practice though. And the problem is I don't have a joystick and my landing (any plane) in Simpleplanes sucks. I can land planes in War Thunder though.
@TheKraken3
Thank you. I think you downloaded before I finished editing my comment on how to fly the plane. You might want to go back to check it out. Thanks again for the upvote. .
@Mustang51
Hi, I think I found the cause for the lost control when doing a roll with tight turning with this F-14. When I remove the rotator (set as pitch), I can do a roll with tight turn without any problem. I have build another plane and have the same setting (rotator=pitch), I encounter the same lost control problem. And when I remove it (rotator/pitch), its back to normal. Is that a bug?
@Mustang51
Thank you for your reply.
I have tried distributing the weight towards the front as in your 1st comment's suggestion but it still behave the same. Maybe i should distribute more. Will try again when I am free. Thanks again for the tips. Another worry I had is if I distribute too much to the front may cause more dipping when in max swept back flight. I guess need some balancing to find the optimum. :)
@Mustang51
Thank you and Thank you for your suggestion.
I am not sure if its the design but I notice that in straight wing flight, when you try to do a roll with a tight turn, it will kind of lost control and the roll input tend to become the opposite reaction for quite awhile i.e. when try to roll left, it respond right and vice versa, until you ease up on the pitch elevator. So, I though by reducing the rotator max deg from 30 to 20 will ease the problem but it does not. Am still trying to see if I can solve it. . :)
@Mustang51
Hi, sorry to disturb you but I need some advise. Recently I built an F-14 Tomcat with sweppable wing. It's working as require i.e. can change swept wing position while in flight. However, there's 1 problem though. If I move the rotator arrow to the opposite direction, it will do a forward swept which I don't want it to do that. Can I limit the rotator from moving the wing from moving forward or more than it should? Thank you in advance. .

Thank you. In fact I only started to familiarize myself with mod about 2+weeks ago. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. May I know how to I use the xml overload? I am creating a mini P-51 and the best engine that is available for me is the Blade T1000 but its so under power. May I know how do I increases the power/hp? I already set the configuration of the engine to max. Thank you.
@Riskitforabiscuit
Hi, Am seeking your valuable input.
I am creating a mini P-51/ I am using the Blade T1000 which is kind of under power (I have already set the HP to the max in the setting). Blade T2000 is too big to fit in and the round shape is not suitable. Is there anyway I can 'mod' the Blade T1000 for additional HP? Thanks in advance.
@Dragons103
Will try. .
I am outstation for about a week. Internet access where I am going is poor. :(.
Wait till I get back home and lets see if I can do it. .
@Dragons103. . . Problem solved. . Have a nice flight. .

@SemedianIndustries
Thank you for upvoting. . The intakes took me quite a while to figure out how to make it. . . :D
@99807
Thank you. . :)
@Dragons103
You just need to add a gyroscope if you don't like the challenges of flying it manually. .
@Dragons103
Thank you. .
@Mustang51
Apparently, by adding only a gyroscope solves all the 'old school' problems. . :D
