This challenge is all about agility. It's up to the participants to come up with the most agile plane that they can, as long as it's not modded in any way. Speed and missiles don't matter @SimpleTechAndResearch
Pull the center of mass closer to the center of lift. Decrease weight and minimize drag. Increase wing area. Flying wings are naturally maneuverable because of their huge wing area in comparison to their weight
That's a common question. The rules do not forbid missiles, but you should remember that these dogfights will be in very close quarters. Guns are far more effective than missiles in a classic, short-ranged dogfight. Equipping missiles would be like adding dead weight and extra drag to hinder your plane's agility. @DeezNuts52
You should get your entry in ASAP. This challenge closes in a few hours. Don't forget to make it a successor @Makiplays

missiles aren't going to do you much good in a close-quarter dogfight. @SimpleTechAndResearch
cool. This'll probably be the last contestant, I'm gonna close up this challenge here. Over 69 planes to work with @SimpleTechAndResearch
you don't need gear @SimpleTechAndResearch
Yes@Engineer69
It doesn't. If you ever see any user that does that, report them
yeah that would be really cool @FennVectorCWA
ugh…still have to clean out all the copies
It needs to be a successor @Engineer69
replicas usually do pretty well, as long as they're not small and have accurate colors
that's what I specialize in ;) thank you! @GINGER01
yours is probably better armed, though :) the D-6 only has a rear gun, kinda hard to use in a dogfight @FennVectorCWA
Thank you @Hadesrocksz !
thank you @TehDuck for upvoting!
thanks a lot! @Oni789
no prob @LeWhaleShark
you need to make a Gravatar account…it's really weird. @LeWhaleShark
with all due respect, it's spelled "Lockheed" with two e's
wow! really cool
thank you for the upvote! @JacobHardy64 @ACMECo1940
Thanks! :) @Sutairs

oh ok. my apologies @Luke92778
no just one per participant @Awesomeplanes
ok @ValtsuAircraftIndustries my apologies @Champ9961
I'm gonna go crazy and remove the successor limit @Allstar
March 27th is the last day to submit @Noval5
you're too slow
hm...maybe I'll give this a go
@mikki download this post and make your plane with its save file. Then resubmit it, and it'll be displayed as a successor

I hope you understand that in order to enter, you should make the plane a successor @mikki @Planeswinger
interesting how your plane is identical to its predecessor. @Luke92778
Welcome to the gold squad
I hope this isn't XML modded.
Thanks, man! @FennVectorCWA
Wow this looks really good!
congrats!
fake? just for decoration? that'd be fine @DestinyAviation
Great idea. I'll post a replay of the two finalists on Everyplay and link it to the forum post. @jdulmer
@DestinyAviation thanks for the participation
