I made a few edits, like balancing the weight and adding a few vertical stabilizers to keep it straight. It was a great plane to work on, you made a beautiful design! :) https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/eE9e25/Screaming-Death-Fix-for-dan242
Generally speaking, the weird ones are the fun ones to fly. Who likes normal stuff? It's boring. I like the outliers, the ones that don't really fit into the general plane population.
I see. Well. Whatever works, I suppose. Great plane, by the way. It flies great, but the fuel storage is a bit small. Unfortunately there's not really any place where you can put any fuel blocks, so I can see why you left them out.
...window maker? As in... someone who makes windows? Maybe you were intending this plane to be used for constructing window panes, but I'm almost certain you meant Widow Maker.
One feature that I would be really happy for is a search feature for mobile because sometimes I want to find a particular kind of plane to see if it's been done before. That will also lead to more downloads for older planes, so you don't just have to keep making new planes to get downloads.
Thank you. That will be a good improvement, I think. But I feel like that will only lead to wars of 1-star ratings against people. People generally dislike it when they get a bad rating, so it could spark some feeling of retaliation.
I would be jealous if your plane is worthy of those ratings, but those ratings are obviously not legitimate. And I think it's awfully coincidental that my most recent planes each received at leat one 1-star rating since I posted my comment. None of those planes had a single 1-star rating before.
If you're going to give me a 1 star rating, at least tell me what areas I need to improve in. I honestly don't know why this plane is worthy of such a terrible rating.
If you saw major problems with this plane, try out the 2.0 version. This version of The Patriot may not take off well, and I fixed the main issues in the new version.
Hold on there, flightguy. You did that exact same thing with my plane. Granted you said it wasn't yours, but you didn't give specific credit to the owner. I didn't say anything about it because you admitted it wasn't yours, but it's still not correctly giving credit where credit is due. Not saying that this person was correct in copying, I'm just saying that maybe you should evaluate your own decisions before you judge others.
I'm sorry, but what does "ultimate wisdom" actually do? And for the plane design, I would recommend switching the positions of the pitch and roll control areas. The pitch area provides lift, so you want it to be as close to the center of the plane as possible, while the roll keeps the plane stable, so you want it to be a little further away. That's why the primary wings are bigger than the horizontal stabilizers originally.
I would recommend, if you want to clear your name of this copying thing, get a new one. Create a new account, make planes and post them to that account, and never copy again. That kind of bad reputation in this kind of small community can be devastating for your download count and ratings.
Great work on this plane. The handling is fantastic for the speed, and it just looks great overall. I especially like the choice of colors used. Great work.
You stole someone else's work, gave no credit, and changed nothing about it. If you like the idea, download it. Don't try to take other people's work and display it as your own. Nobody benefits from it.
Yup. I'm "some one else." I think your addition does solve the issue, but it makes it a little more difficult to fly. The issue that I had was, I couldn't get it to lift correctly without sacrificing the maneuverability of the plane. So I didnt. I'm glad that people are experimenting with my work, though. Great job.
All around great plane, but it is a bit unstable (possibly because of the small vertical stabilizers) when doing quick turns. Great adaptation, though. It looks very nice.
Planes can't be "Lowridas." "Lowridas" are close to the ground, and typically you want your plane to be furthest away from the ground as possible. Therefore, a "Lowrida" plane is a destroyed plane. The plane just... doesn't work. It's almost completely unusable. It can't stay balanced, and it likes to crash into the sides of mountains because of this. I would recommend checking out the CoM/CoL/CoT to figure out how to adjust the balance to make it a bit more stable.
It's a great plane, but the reason it isn't fling perfectly is because of one simple reason. Because the two control surfaces in the front are used for pitch, they have to be inverted. Only the pitch control surfaces in the back don't have to be inverted. Once you invert the pitch control surfaces in the front, it flies like a dream.
Just saying that credit is given without actually giving credit to the specific creator is like writing a paper with the works cited list saying, "The work that I cited isn't actually mine, but I use it."
It had a great look, but the functionality suffers because of it. It's almost impossible to fly, and the bombs are unusable because it won't get to a sufficient altitude.
There are numerous places that can be improved on the plane, such as the propulsion system requiring something to make it a little more aerodynamic (like a nose cone). I would say that only 3 landing gears would be required to take off, 6 is way too many. The passengers were a nice addition, but I would say they should only be added if the plane flies perfectly without them.
Could be a great plane, as the design of it is very nice. But there is no support for the wings, which is evident by one wing immediately breaking off upon starting the game.
Oh. Well, I'm happy to help. What gen iPad is it? @dan242
Nope, mobile. @dan242
No problem! :) @dan242
Just finished my first run around the island with it, was able to land it!

When I start a conversation, I actually follow through with it instead of dodging every single question and statement presented.
Ah. You can edit the name of a plane, though. Just click the 'edit' button next to the star.

I think it's also humorous that you put "no cheats" in your plane title, as if to attempt to dismiss any potential wonders of obvious cheating.

So... 6 downloads and 5 5-star ratings in 10 minutes? That seems very, very unlikely, as it's a ground vehicle.

It's very front heavy, and it doesn't ascend very quickly because of it.
Thank you. I put a lot of time into this plane, so I'm glad that you like it.

Gets to a high speed, but immediately loses wings when it tries to take off.

Great work. You can see the careful planning of the positioning of the different planes just by the design. It works just as the description states.
