@motorfiets I have really improved the design to be more responsive for landing and also mimic a more true to life takeoff. I’ll post an updated version soon.
@motorfiets v2 is here! Much improved VTOL performance and also amphibious now.
You can really see the rocking takeoff motion if you power up to 5% for second before going to 10%. This gives the lower motors a chance to spin up first which launches the nose up real quick.

I lIke the minimalism! I wonder if you could make it 9 parts by using 2 long fuselage floats and remove the tail float? It may reduce your drag a bit too.

@motorfiets make sure you disable group 8 when you want to fly like a plane. The is a gyro to help for hovering, but it makes flying horrrible.
