Wow that's some powerful yaw control. I wonder what it would do to the pilot. Normally it's + and - Gs with that fast side to side movement would it black out half of the brain?
-P.S. I'm working an a fictional plane and after making the LERX's it reminded me of this one (Though it has much more F-15 style intakes).
Nice! I'll have to test it out. I have a "MK2" in my sub-assemblies with an extra Boom 50 in the nose for more punch. It's not quite accurate to the real thing but it's fun to use.
I like the two tone canopy glass though that thick ring looks like it would obstruct the pilots field of view. I can't tell if this would have a crew of one, two, or four. I like it though!
@Jerba Oh that makes sense. I was confused because "MiG-21 BIAS" came up with results on google. I guess there's the Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS) where they've had the MiG-21 fly before.
@Jerba I'm not too familiar with Russian aircraft but from what I can tell, the BIS at the end stands for Two or Second as it's a second generation of the MiG-21. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Nice job on the canopy! I always thought it was an interesting design with the glass forming sharp corners and smoothing out. I've stayed away from building some WWII planes for this reason.
@Sinacraft Are you playing on Mobile or PC? I play on steam so I just take a screenshot and upload it to my steam pictures. you can then copy the image URL and put it in the comment section of a build like this
! (ImageURL)
Make sure to put the image URL in parentheses and put a space before the "!" If you're on mobile you could take a screenshot and upload it to something like Imgur. I hope this helps.
@jamesPLANESii @MailboxIsMyGender Mom, Dad! Stop fighting! Great plane by the way. I think I was on multiplayer and you showed me this. It looks like you made the blue brighter which is good since it looked black before.
@BroAeronautics I think he does it because it helps bring out the best in builders. if you build a plane and say its done and it only has say 70 parts, that gives you room to go back in and work more detail into it. Maybe you could swap out those stock landing gear blocks for custom gears with rotators and hinges or give the wings a realistic airfoil shape etc..
Holy snap! This was unexpected! I thought I borderline broke the rules though nothing said I couldn't be supersonic. Congrats to everyone else who entered.
I like the use of intake blocks to give it that livery! I use them a lot for fighter canopy windows but I've never thought to use it like this. Nice job!
Nice! I love the detail, though I agree with @Supercraft888 on the landing gears and flight stability. I recomend using structural wings instead of primary, vertical, and horizontal wings as the structural wings don't have that wobble when pulling tight turns. if you have the Overload Mod you can then edit them to have control surfaces. I like the two tone color scheme you got. I've always found that part tricky to make.
@danman12 I think its the large extended wing part made from the Fuselage Nose Block. The F-18 and Mig-29 both have a very smoothed extension and I guess it plays a huge role in stability when turning.
@nicolascolissi14 Theres a really good F-16 made by Sauce. Its absolutely beautiful and he captured nearly every detail. The only problem is the part count. My PC doesn't agree with it:
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/8LW6a3/General-Dynamics-F-16-Fighting-Falcon
@Chancey21 I try to keep the part count at a reasonable level. I'm slowly working my way up with detail. This one was just for fun as I wanted to build a plane with top wing mounted missiles.
@nicolascolissi14 Some day I plan to make an F-16. Those landing gears look quite tricky. The main problem is the intake, as the top is a concave curve which you can't do easily in SimplePlanes.
@RhysBrown I didn't know the Jaguar was the origin of the Tornado. I'm from the US so I'm not too familiar with non-US aircraft. Now that you mention it, I do see the similarities. especially the canopy glass shape and the intakes being smaller and raised up. Thanks for the fun fact. I made a sort of Tornado based on the stock Hellkeska a while back. I might have to make a more realistic Tornado too!
@BroAeronautics I built a Gripen back when I didn't know how to use XML so I might have a go at a more accurate rebuild. That's on my list of things I want to remake along with the F-8 and the F-15.
@RhysBrown @BroAeronautics I'm not too familiar with the Mirage so I left the name pretty blank. It can be whatever version you think it is. I didn't get the wing shape perfect there's a little too much length at the tips but that's so the leading edge flap part works. I might make the version with the forward canards for extra maneuverability.
Nice job. You really got the shape down. I like the gradual curve of the intakes merging into the body. It looks like the tail fin (Rudder) might be a little off in shape. I think the trailing edge angle is a little less steep and the tip is a little shorter front to back. Overall nice job though!

@RodWan I added the extra bomb just for fun as it creates a larger area of damage for taking out convoys (Or the USS Beast in one go).

Lookin' good!

+1S M O O T H
+2What would happen if you aim the gun sideways and fire?
It looks great! @CarsonG1017 I was thinking some kind of modern civil aviation plane but I see what you're talking about.
+1@Jerba What form of memery is this? I've never heard this meme before xD
@Mustang51 You've inspired me to build my own MiG-21
@Jerba Oh that makes sense. I was confused because "MiG-21 BIAS" came up with results on google. I guess there's the Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS) where they've had the MiG-21 fly before.

@USSR Thats what I'm all about.
+2By default, thats the fun key. Click it when flying to have a fun!
+2@AluminumOvercast The F-15 is on my list still. I tried making one over a year ago and have since learned a lot more on building better planes.
@Minecraftpoweer
Sevniez
Sevnyiez? @pavthepilot @TheDerpingMemes
@marcox43 I do! I realized today that I forgot to give it an upvote after looking through my planes list and finding it.
@jamesPLANESii @JohnnyBoythePilot
@Kaos Thanks!
@pavthepilot Your own server? Sure
Nice job on the canopy! I always thought it was an interesting design with the glass forming sharp corners and smoothing out. I've stayed away from building some WWII planes for this reason.
Nice! But is there any way we can make arresting hook cables out of springs and rotators for multiplayer use?
But can they survive a nuclear fallout off the coast of Boston?
@jamesPLANESii How did you disable the drag?

+1@IanTheCuberGamer Thanks for the info.
+1@N1KO I made a successor for you:

@RhysBrown Oh I'm excited. Is it more of an angular F-117 sort of stealth or a smoother B-2 / F-22 stealth?
+1@nicolascolissi14 Theres a really good F-16 made by Sauce. Its absolutely beautiful and he captured nearly every detail. The only problem is the part count. My PC doesn't agree with it:

Nice. It reminds me of a crossbreed between an F-18 and Mig-29. Keep up the good work!

@RhysBrown can you give out any hints?
Beautiful! Reminds me of the AI drone from the movie Stealth or early concept art for Lockheed's Have Blue and YF-22 programs.

@RhysBrown @Minecraftpoweer @JohnnyBoythePilot Heres the Jaguar!
I'm currently working on a SEPECAT Jaguar, and have plans to build either a Saab Viggen or Draken.

+2@Sgtk Yeah I love how you were able to pull it. The red/white pattern looks great.
Nice job. You really got the shape down. I like the gradual curve of the intakes merging into the body. It looks like the tail fin (Rudder) might be a little off in shape. I think the trailing edge angle is a little less steep and the tip is a little shorter front to back. Overall nice job though!
