    Awesome idea

  • sea crow 9.4 years ago

Flies wdll but a little unstable I assume until you get some speed

  • Next Generation Search and Rescue 9.4 years ago

    @kingdeadshot

  • MANTICORE GUN SHIP 9.4 years ago

    Beyond amazing

  • Recon and SAR Jet 9.4 years ago

Thanks @ahappyape I have another version in works that comes with a life raft. I'll adjust the pitch on that one.

  • Articulating Bomber Arm 9.4 years ago

    @KingDeadshot thanks

  • Simple 4 tipped raptor 9.4 years ago

    Thanks @kingdeadshot

  • Articulating Bomber Arm 9.4 years ago

@kingdeadshot this is another variation of the previous plane you saw of mine. I'd be interested in your thoughts

  • Foward Swept Fighter Bomber Jet 9.4 years ago

Thanks @ahappyape I noticed that happens occasionally. I think I will try your detachor thing. That seems to work anytime I have break away wings

  • Foward Swept Fighter Bomber Jet 9.4 years ago

@ahappyape give this a fly. Removing the bomb assembly makes it fly a little better. I'm working on another version that I will post tonight

  • Oregon Trail Jet 9.4 years ago

Holy wow.... this is awesome. Just don't break an axle on this wagon trip

  • Meyer P-51 Challenge 9.4 years ago

The frontal sketch picture looks like a rat's nest of wings and engines

  • Foward Swept Fighter Bomber Jet 9.4 years ago

    Thanks @kingdeadshot

  • Ufo 9.4 years ago

@Th3Champ got it thanks, I'll let this stand as my submission

  • Ufo 9.4 years ago

@Th3Champ is more than one submission allowed

  • "Cockpit" Mkenz challenge 9.4 years ago

    Nice job

  • Ufo 9.4 years ago

@MewtwoVsMew I will put a disclosure on this next time, warning do not view in cockpit mode :)

  • Ufo 9.4 years ago

    @Th3Champ Thanks

  • P-51 Mustang Fire Wings 9.4 years ago

    Thanks @LordofLego

  • P-51 Mustang Fire Wings 9.4 years ago

@Nickasaurusrex fair enough and thanks for the feedback

  • P-51 Challenge 9.4 years ago

@Nickasaurusrex thanks. I just made a version with out moving any of your parts but I think I will do a second

  • P-51 Challenge 9.4 years ago

@Nickasaurusrex can I add engines between the wing and body

  • Ifly 9.4 years ago

Thanks @stealthbomber. It was funny watching the game really freak out if you try and fly this plane without balancing it

  • Tiny aircraft challenge 9.4 years ago

Thanks @ahappyape, you never fully appreciate the vertical stabilizer until you don't have one

  • Tiny aircraft challenge 9.4 years ago

@lordofLego, slight may have been an understatement... but it can be controlled by constant tipping side to side. I was trying to keep the part count low as to be competitive in the challenge. Check out this other version that flies much better: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/9ip99Q/The-flying-engine

  • supersonic jet bomber (VTOL) 9.4 years ago

    Looks good

  • Make This Fly 9.4 years ago

@StealthBomber I got one to fly took a hell of a lot of vtols to balance her out. I did shift some things around but don't think I needed to

  • Made that fly! 9.4 years ago

    Really nice

  • small aircraft challenge 9.4 years ago

Not the smallest ive seen but close.

  • supersonic jet (VTOL) 9.4 years ago

Flies well. Add some bombs and it would be a good high speed bomber

  • Meyer T5D - "HeX" 9.4 years ago

You're lucky this exploded flying rainbow has excellent handling. .. :-)

  • rocket 9.4 years ago

Awesome job on this. 200k+ until the engines flame out.

  • F14 Tomcat Top Gun 9.4 years ago

This flies amazingly well. Nice Job. Were the engines modded at all? It seems to have insane amounts of power from just two engines

  • @lowlife vtol 9.4 years ago

Throttle up to about 56% and gain some altitude then action group 1 and vtol up to cruise

  • SimpleVerticalPlane(SVP) 9.4 years ago

I will give you 5 plus. Very well balanced for vtol. I just posted a copy of it

  • BlackSwallow_Carrier_version 9.4 years ago

@Garuda1 thanks for the rating. I'm continuing to play with different design ideas that yield high maneuverability and speed. I think the predecessor of this one handles a little better and can easily get to 88k feet before stalling

  • BlackSwallow 9.4 years ago

@LordofLego thanks. I just uploaded the carrier version of this as a successor, but I like this one better

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

Since I can't personally fly either of these and no one else is entering I think I will call it a draw. And give you both the ratings on planes that deserve recognition

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@LordofLego @griffith this is my plane that inspired the challenge. Currently has 18 engines, I added two small engines to the horizontal stabilizers https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/uFMqTn/BlackSwallow

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@LordofLego I might have the same issue with yours as well. I like the idea of vertical propellers for lift. Never thought of that

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@Griffith must be version issues and physics between mobile and pc I can't seem to get yours off the ground

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@LordofLego what physics setting do you have? I'm able to get it off uss tiny but promptly loose control. Is there a trick to flying this beast?

  • 20 engine entry 9.4 years ago

Looks good. I will give a flying review tomorrow

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

I will fly tomorrow and let you know. Looks like you met the design criteria. Lets see how it flys

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@Griffith looking forward to seeing what you can do.

  • blue angels 9.4 years ago

Great idea. I have a problem where the right jet slides into me shortly after take off. Other than that thet fly great

  • Blended Wing Dreamliner 9.4 years ago

This just looks amazing. Very skilled work and patience went into this

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

    @Hypnoticchicken

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

@Griffith @hypnotoad @StealthBomber @planesnthings Hoping to use your large reputations on here to gain some traction for this challenge. I'm interested in seeing what types of planes people would come up with.

  • 20 Engine Challenge 9.4 years ago

I'll base the decision on appearance and performance. So make em look as good as they fly
