@wormforce I like the plane I downloaded and started tearing it apart to try and find how it had that much power in such a small frame and that's when I got confused
@ahappyape
Added a performance tweak to this design:

Getting closer to your idea of good performance
This one is just an attempt to see how many moving pieces I could get to fly in this. Flys well but you need serious speed to not loose control.
design:

@ahappyape some stability issues but this one can turn. I forget what actions groups trigger the various rotators, but 1 still ejects the excess weight on the underside improving the agility
Not sure this has the pitch response @ahappyape wants ;-), but its closer and adjusting the angle change of the tail might help. again speed is an issue, get below 350 and it will be unstable in tight turns
@ahappyape try this one

a little more control (once over 350mph) even more responsive if you jettison the extra fuel tanks
@Ahappyape
Thanks, I am continuing to tweak it. If you reduce the rear elevators, that will improve the bobby pitching.. I am trying to get a nimble aircraft for use in the sam evasion level
Thanks @legoboy5
Looks awesome, I might download and play with. Where is the issue with the flying?

is it a game glitch that it has no engines once you detach the ones on the runway?
@geebers https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/7S9QIj/Model-Wellington It has a slight nose down/up tenancy but with little pitch adjustments you can fly it
Thanks. @ahappyape I like playing with the rotator parts, adds a really neat aspect to the designs. Who ever came up that was a genius.
This was a fun plane to fly. Love how responsive it is. I stole some design concepts for my plane.

An additional rotator to bring wings back up to fuselage level might improve performance
@nightraider. I just built a tanker as well: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/pc7Ovm/Aircraft-Refueling-Jet Not as sleek as yours, but it works

@ahappyape more pitch as in faster angle changes (sharper turns) or better pitch control?
action group 1 jettisons the extra wing pods and gear. Making a more responsive aircraft
