@BaconEggs Well I come back on the website from time to time. But I don't have the time to play or to build anymore...
Too bad, the new updates seem great!
Thanks a lot @Kevin even if I'm not sure about that ^^ and about the helicarrier my computer would suffer a lot, it's just enough for this plane... But if you have the hardware for, give a look at what Conson did, I think he might have done one!
@helix it is! A quick fix is to place 2 or 3 VTOL engines in the rear bay (carefully to not block the door) and fill with fuel the belly in the front and the wings (upper and lower). This extra power will make you fly around 220mph, not that fast though -_-
Excellent design! skimming on water is really fun! But your design could use a little more power and some vertical stab at the rear to be able to make turns!
Designing an asymetrical plane is difficult and you are on the right track! BUT you've made a few mistakes. First of all, I know it's not easy but your COT should be on the right of the COM to counter drag that is more important on the right of the COM. Then the COM and the COL MUST be on the same line, you simply cannot acheive a steady flight if this is not respected (Newton). And finnaly, after all of that is done, you need to fine tunned your control surfaces to have pure pitch (without induced roll etc). Anyway, hope this was helpfull, I suscribe to you to see your next planes ;) good luck
For pitch control surface, if it's behind the COM then it should "push down" to pitch up ( the surface goes upward), if it's in front of the COM the surface should lift the noze (the surface goes downwards).
Try to remove the pitching surface at the rear to understand better.
And was it clear?
This plane is GORGEOUS!

It's actually not mine. Read the description of my plane.
Good job doing it without changing the COM. I gave it a try few month ago : https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/8ch5S1/Double-face
Like a steam punk b-17!
Looks fantastic!
Yeah so then I don't enter... By the way if you organize challenges only for gaining points, it's not very constructive... @WWIIPlaneBuilder
Have a look at my X15 https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/QLpk8o/North-American-X-15
Cool

Look at my first planes, it was another story! @AGENTCLASSIFIED
Gorgeous
That's hard!
Classy
Have you used some of your transparent parts?
Gator..?
Simple, fun, enough for me!
Very nice! You'll get a flight more leveled if you change all your main wings to "Flat bottom"!
Nice try, but the chopper is a little underpowered... What we don't know is all the choppers have huge computer assitance to be pratical to flight!
I love the challenge and it's a good attempt for a first plane! hope to see many of your creations!

@Nassassin, does it happen with the slider up? Because I was aware of that for the slider down but never encountered it with the recommended way!
If you add a description I might go to 5 stars
You don't need modded engines with all those VTOLs :(
Interesting design but few details are wrong and there is no description
In fishing years?
Very very clever!
@Nightraider French engineering my friend, I had to ;)
True, I was a bit pieces off, I'll remove it.. @Zing2000

I thinks it's the rotators that are very soft (like detachers)
By RC you mean HUGE?! Great design! you might want to invert some nozzles on the blade tips though. And the pitching system is clever but ambitious...

Bravo!
Good Good Good!
Impressive
Wow!
@SpiritusRaptor I'm sure it's great as usual!
I did not, I don't have a proper internet connexion currently... -_-
@Stormraided If you wait half an hour because of the modded engines it will! But please why do people use that? So not funny!
How do you work to think that folding system?
Are your canard ailerons not inverted on purpose?
Why the modded engine...? :( It's taking hours to react! The plane looks great but I hate the engine so much I can't rate it impartially...
@XWING I like slow and hard to control planes
Good plane but I really hate those modded engines
New landing gears? ;)
I agree, the paint job is not an option, but keep going!
Ballsy!
I did miss it!
