(some other may have seen this but I saw nothing of it in the release notes or any forums)
Ever since the 1.8 update, there has been a new version of prop strikes. Formerly, the prop would explode and fly off into nowhere in one solid piece. New to the 1.8 Update, the propeller blades now break off individually and will fall off in different directions.
