So making interiors for me is hard, because I want to start on the interior, but then I cannot mirror my creation without screwing everything up! Any ideas on how to make a good interior and be able to mirror the creation without messing everything up?
Use the connection mod
@RamboJutter I might need a video tutorial, but I'll try and see what happens.
@CreeperOfTheFortress mirror part instead of mirror the whole build
@XP Then I am surprised that I never figured it out.
Yes @CreeperOfTheFortress
@XP Ya, I never knew you could, but you can do it on Windows 10, right?
You never mirror individual parts? @CreeperOfTheFortress
@BagelPlane I agree with the plan it out part, and with the mas and drag, I already do that, but thanks anyway!
@RamboJutter Copy over button? I never heard of it. Is it a mod or a Mobile only, because I do SimplePlanes on Windows 10.
And make sure to disable drag and mass in all the small parts, their weight adds up quick.
Best to plan it out, uses a lot of parts. You’ve got to be real careful with part conceptions if your including moving parts. Not fun.
Don't use mirroring. I build the fuselage then 1 wing and copy just the wing over by making sure it only has 1 connection point to the fuselage then clicking copy over button. Much more reliable than mirror which sometimes duplicates parts.
Regular airliner interior or other?
@Highground If you do the interior first, does that mean you just don't use mirroring?
@CreeperOfTheFortress hmm, in this situation, connection editor and fine-tuner is your friend. I'm also a bit hypocritical because I usually do the interior first
@Highground When I try to do the interior last, the parts I use always connects to other parts and it is hard to make the parts small enough for efficient use. I don't understand how you guys do it.
@WarHawk95 Thanks for pointing that out, sorry for that.
Do the interior last, you won't mirror something that doesn't need to be mirrored if there's nothing more to mirror in the first place
Can't you put a "?" in the title ? It looks like a tutorial
