These three are the most popular and iconic masterpieces in aviation history
but unfortunately one of them is no longer in the sky but Boeing 747 and A380s
production stopped. what if we can revive one of them but which one to choose

That is true......@FeatherWing
@MaliciousMuffin
I wouldn't say that.
Aircraft like the Bae Lightning and the U2 could fly far higher than 60,000 feet.
Possibly but it wouldn’t be by much because the the Concorde uses air breathing engines so in order to fly higher you would need literal rocket engines and a really really advanced fuselage to handle the altitude @FeatherWing
@MaliciousMuffin
Ok, yes, it did fly up to 60,000 feet, but that was the late 20th and early 21st century. So who knows, maybe redoing Concorde in this day and age, or the future, could allow it to fly higher.
The Concorde already flew ridiculously high.... I don’t think it could get higher.... the passengers could literally see the curvature of the earth from their windows@FeatherWing
@ChrisPy
1st: Which Military?
2nd: Militaries are always working on something.
It’s possible but you have to change some geometry. And the military has been working on some stuff.@FeatherWing
@ChrisPy
You can't really change the volume level of a Sonic boom...
Maybe it's a problem that could be solved by being able to fly higher.
@WarHawk95
I'm more talking about its fuel consumption problem. The amount of fuel it burned just taxing to the runway is so ridiculous. And we also have far better technology now than we did when the Concorde was designed. So I'm more talking about improving the design.
(Cough cough.... WHEEZE). A-380-800 for life @Lanc
concorde
Concorde. We just need to make the sonic boom quieter and the engines quieter. Those things are LOUD. Louder than the 747s flying above my house in DFW
Concorde
@WarHawk95 #no but we have to redesign make it fuel efficient, reduce noise, enhance cabin and of course its complicated cockpit.
@FeatherWing @Dazare don't. Redesign. The. Concorde.
Everything is perfect about it.
Concorde definitely.
And whoever says "change the design" can f*ck off.
@Dazare
That's what I said...
@FeatherWing yes concorde is a good option but we have to fully redesign that
It's quite difficult to make a good decision on this.
Concorde makes the most logical sense (to me at least) in passenger capacity in comparison to the 747 and especially the A380 as you are more likely to sell the most seats at a time, but it consumes wayyy more fuel than the other two.
.
The 747 does also have the advantage of being able to be used as a freighter, but as an airliner, it can have the trouble of not selling a lot of seats.
.
The A380 just has issues. It's too big for a lot of airports and also has the same issue of selling a lot of seats, having about 500 in total. It also can't be used as a freighter.
.
Tbh, with a big rework of the design, I would probably go with Concorde.

Concorde 100%
