We've got a few features in the 1.12 update, along with tweaks and a handful of bug-fixes. Many, many VR related features/fixes/tweaks are not listed here, as they were shared via Steam announcements for the respective update. Related post here
Features
- Enabled WW2 Dogfight, WW2 Torpedo, and Bomber Escort on mobile.
- Added two-handed aiming logic to 6-axis ControlBase parts.
- Seats now show a preview pilot for scale when selected in the designer to allow proper pilot camera placement.
Tweaks
- Restore position and rotation of camera when re-entering designer from flight.
- Remember if a part was hidden in the designer.
- Select other part when part connection is clicked in the Connections panel.
Bug-fixes
- Fixed a recently introduced bug that caused the Designer Suite mod (and possibly other mods) to fail to load correctly.
- Fixed a bug with some craft bouncing when first entering the flight scene.
- Fixed a bug where crafts would be repositioned incorrectly in the main menu if they had a parachute.
- Fixed a bug where PositionAxis min/max was not observed correctly.
- Fixed a bug where the view could become garbled and the UI unusable after the craft explodes.
- Fixed a bug which broke landing/final approach AI planes.
- Fixed regression preventing completing/exiting/restarting challenges when finished.
- Prevent loading of invalid or "Disabled" control axes, which prevents potential NaN pollution crashes.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to sometimes "break" in unpredictable ways on non-"en-US" culture settings.
Here’s a suggestion for the next update that would be really cool a shell casings ejector for like cannons

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with it, but having it installed now causes the game to crash every few minutes. For me, it was only in the designer.
I did uninstall it, which fixed the issue right away, so I recommend doing that too.

@V The fix has not been included in a beta build and is unlikely to make the update this Friday, but it will be in the next update.

@MRpingouin part count isn't always the reason for lag. A 400 part build can lag if it's large enough and has a lot of drag, meanwhile, a 1500 part build can still run well if it's perfectly de-dragged and is not too big

@AndrewGarrison now have everything we need in simpleplanes, can you guys now plane on how to optimize the game, these days planes with 400 parts lag so hard on low physics some with 700 didn't lag at all.
@andrewgarrison on mobile, having the game select the part i tap on in the part connection selector is REALLY ANNOYING. i cant just mouse over it like on a pc, and i just wanna see all of the parts the part i want is connected to
did you fix the crash issue? Game crashes literally evey 10 minutes even on my new laptop, that's horrible
can I suggest something? increase the cannon tracer round lighting by 1.5-2 times, since the light halo source is usually bigger than the round itself.
Greetings, dear developers! Is it possible for you to fix the mirror tool so it could always mirror all the part connections evenly? It fails to do that on a regular basis, especially if tasked to mirror the parts that are interlapping/very close to each other/have many connections/rotated to certain degree at certain axis. This failure oftenly results in undesired drag asymmetry, moving parts malfunction, and parts falling out in flight. Reconnecting the parts manually can be a pain in the butt if there's more than 400-600 parts.

@Hedero @PapaKernels That was my addition, sorry for the UI annoyance. I have fixed this so that it won't select the other part if you tap and hold on mobile. Sadly, it is very unlikely to make it in for the release on Friday, but it will be in the next update.
Blade T2000's prop still visually glitched. If you adjust the pitch of the prop blades, the blade rotates to a weird position. Also, cannon tracers are glitched. The best way to recreate that bug is to build yourself a rapid firing cannon with tracers and fire continuously. You'll see that occasionally, the game will render the tracers seemingly stretching to infinity for a brief moment.
I think i found a bug. It seems disable aircraft collision doesn't work for wing guns. I have some guns that are in line with the prop and when i shoot it damages the prop. Aircraft collision is disabled for the prop engine so it shouldn't damage it.
The one thing i have a problem with is that when clicking to check part connections, it moves to the part you select, and 9/10 times i needed to stay on that part to remove only one of its 4 connections, but it kept changing. That's the only thing i have a problem with. Are you guys thinking of revising the menu? I've noticed in the beta there's new loading screens.
