Model 1 is used for subsonic aircraft (it has added advantage of increased downwards visibility, useful for an attack aircraft). If you are making a supersonic aircraft, use Model 2 instead (blunt noses don’t do well in supersonic speeds).
2nd nose cone would look something like you put a radar dish on it which is kinda useless on a CAS aircraft because you won't need a radar so 1st one is better
1 put 2 if the nose was a bit thicker

@BlackGearCompany depends on if your aircraft is supersonic or not
@BlackGearCompany They both look pretty good, I like the looks of the pointy one but I feel like the round one is more realistic.
Model 2 seems better.
Especially because of the cockpit placement.

1 looks too much like the A-10 (the A-10 is shit)
So imma pick 2 but make the the noise a little bit thicker
@32 ok, imma tag you out too

I'd have to see the entire aircraft
@BlackGearCompany Now that I've taken a look at the both of them, I think I might go with model 1
@Nerfaddict ok, imma tag you out on my unlisted aircraft post
depends. would like to see a photo of the full aircraft
1 especially if its subsonic
definitely 2nd. First one is better for fighters
I personally like pointed noses more, but that first option is too smooth to say no.

This looks a LOT like my BE-Aphid. Which is also CAS.

For CAS definitely number 1. Number 2 would be great for a supersonic interceptor, but CAS aircraft are usually much slower than the speed of sound.
Number 1
First one looks better, the second is a bit too pointy imo.
