In-game gauges

81.0k TakicraftCorporation  4 days ago

Hello,

It's been a long time since I've seen you, I know. I'm way too upset to write anything funny about this, but is there any funky tree trick to make a gauge measure GS without the needle doing a full circle? Also is there any source where I can figure out Funky Tree codes by myself? I see many of you can make almost computer-like indicators out of the blue and I'd like to learn that as well. Meanwhile, I stuck with a basic analog gauge.

Thank you for any helpful comments.

    @Graingy Lol. This site was usually a little oasis on the word wild web (pun intended) with a wholesome community. Strange to hear about these happenings.

    @XEPOH apologies, the lack of hyperlinks lead me to assume a bot. They’re obnoxious so I don’t read what they spam.

    Sarcasm, if it’s not clear.

    @TakicraftCorporation Bots, trolls, the like.
    At one point someone was spamming pornography on the main page. That was fun.

    Do
    GS/1
    That's to make it atleast move
    Then set input multiplier to something less.
    Gauge.

    Divide your input by the multiplier.

    You can restrict the movement of the needle just using a certain function. If that's not what you want, provide graphs and state diagrams to help others understand
    .
    You can learn FT using the list of functions and by trying to port designs/programs from outside SP. As it turns out, gauges are an easy way to learn and apply FT, since the functions aren't hidden by game physics

    @Graingy There are bots now? OK, that's new.

    @Graingy That does not actually appear to be a bot. It lacks the normal bot username style, and is not writing like an AI due to slight grammatical errors. Additionally, the provided link is simply to the FT guide and a mystery google docs site.

    @TakicraftCorporation Huh.
    Also, do NOT interact with the bots. They're a nuisance, report them.

    @TakicraftCorporation Mood with the potato bit, though it's hardly like I make up elsewhere.
    When were you last active? 2022? 2020?

    @Graingy Well let me please introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste. Sorry, I couldn't leave that one out. Anyway, I'm a player who builds mostly cars in an aircraft-related game. I was active years ago, but I started again to calm my mind. But thanks for your comment, I could use any help with this because I'm too potato for Funky Trees coding.

    Hello. I can't say I recognize you, to be perfectly honest but welcome back in any case.
    @Monarchii you're smart, know anyone who could answer this?
