Always be cautious. Rick-rolls usually happen in links. As soon as you click the link, be sure to look at the top, where the page is loading. When the title loads, and it says anything about Rick, quickly get the heck out before the page loads and all @*&$ breaks loose!
Yeah, it is easy. I also found a “rick roll” blocker here. Basically it will show you the link preview if you hover your mouse over it. Its free, and its open souce!
