I am on iOS and I have tested this to find out that if a missile even slightly touches the water, it essentially becomes a dumb bomb since launching it will cause flames to come out of the exhaust like normal but exactly zero thrust is produced. Why is this?
I would probably crash it very quickly, anyway I already uploaded mine with a different missile system and the lowest download to upvote ratio I have ever had - something like 60ish:0 @Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing
I'm on iOS to @Miniplanes , I made a submersible submarine, you can take the idea/for that if you want...
Yeah that's much harder, I would have trouble making it submerged since I'm on iOS so I would have to rely on the sensor ball only@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing
I meant a sub @Miniplanes
The problem is that I am making a sib that I want to be able to submerge AND fire missiles @Miniplanes
I basically got around it by making the missiles on the submarine I built stay above water level and since it can't dive it shouldn't touch the water@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing
I'm trying to get one that does, for a new build, AlienBeef0421 has been working on one that will work...
True enough@AstleyIndustries
Motors (in both props and jets) can handle some water, as long as there is enough air
Also surely water would do no good to the motor @AstleyIndustries
I still don't understand where all these exposed electronics are in the game though@AstleyIndustries
Engines are different, they don't have exposed electronics
Then how do you use engines that are partially submerged surely the water would destroy them as well
The Rocket Motors inside the missiles have become wet... which pretty much killed the electronics inside.. also the rocket fuel's ded.
