@Himinambob you need to make noraml wings. These fuselages are only for the realer look.
How do you make the wings. I tried to replicate them on an airplane but they created no lift?

Select the part you want to mirror and go to the rotate menu, the button on the left column in the middle is your individual part mirror tool. Yeah it took me a while to find that out too.

It allows for more freedom, I never mirror an entire plane, cause it messes up everything personally. Doing the cockpit first means I can nudge stuff in more easily without having to get the camera into an awkward position.

Yeah, I built this first and then used the (little) things I learnt to work on the B-17. I plan to refine this a bit more.
