If you've been on SP long enough, you've realized a dozen or so mistakes to something you made after it was posted.
The only solution, currently, is to delete and repost or make a duplicate posting with the corrections.
We need and Option to update Existing Posts. What do you think?
@Rakoval500k What do you mean by outdated?
So, how do i make an "outdated" post?
I agree we do need something to update post that have mistakes and want to fix
Thanks @Texasfam04
Hey Congrats on making Plat TMach!
@Rodrigo110 yes.
And also would be cool if it had a little menu underneath the description where it listed all of the version. For example...
.
D5 Crocodile variants
- Mk I (Improved engine efficiency)
- Mk II (Redesigned Inlets and added cockpit protection)
- Mk III (Improved cockpit visibility)
- Mk IV (Increased fuel capacity)
@DerekSP that is actually a better option
You don't have to delete the old plane, it becomes a successor, you just don't get any points for any up votes because you made the successor to your own plane.
But you get to keep the points from the old plane. If you delete the plane the points are gone.
Yes! I accidentally do this all the time!
yes yes.
have you made a user voice?
no
@DerekSP @GermanWarMachine
I am the god of war, Mars. Prepare for orbital bombardment puny Europeans!
@GermanWarMachine k but jesus christ just take the europe already its a real pain tracing the borders D:
I'd rather imagine an option to pick a successor that will be promoted when someone wants to download the plane, so it would say something like "A new version of [this plane] has been uploaded by the author. Do you want to download it? Yes/No"
That would prevent any potential misuse that editing completed posts would bring
Absolutely, yes!
Yeet.
Yes. Make a uservoice.
