I'm making the Mitsubishi G4M1 and MXY-7 Ohka (Cherry Blossom) currently. The kamikaze suicidal attacks occurred in early 1945.

The Ohka is a rocket powered, human guided kamikaze aircraft. Max flying speed 400mph.

Yeah it is very horrifying for both sides. Especially the Ohka, it does not have landing gears and there is no way the pilot can leave the cockpit once entered. If you're flying the zero then you might still have a chance to survive.

I cannot imagine what it feels like to be piloting a human powered missile straight into a ship, knowing you will certainly be vaporised on Impact. Completely and utterly horrifying.
