A new moderator!

EternalDarkness, an excellent builder and SPMC member has been made a website moderator for SimplePlanes.com. I can say from experience that Eternal is a nice, easy to get along with guy, and I’m sure he will make an excellent moderator. Additionally, inactive moderators RocketLL and Skua’s moderator flairs have been removed they haven’t been online in over a year.

Pav the Platinum:

World War II plane aficionado pavthepilot has reached 25K points over this weekend. Pav has been a great help to me over my SimplePlanes career and has inspired/helped with several of my planes. Congratulations mate!

A loss to the Navy, a loss to the world:

John Sidney McCain III, fighter pilot, POW, Senator and Presidental nominee passed away this week at age 81. Putting country before party, he was dedicated to upholding principles above politics. While serving in the Navy after his father and granfather (who were four-star admirals), McCain was shot down over North Vietnam where he was imprisoned for five years until his release. He went on to have an illustrious political career, and peacefully fall asleep surrounded by family. Rest In Peace Senator.

Interview with Minecraftpoweer:

For those who are unfamiliar, Minecraftpoweer is a 14.9K user with several excellent builds and a simple, but sophisticated build style. Here, I interview him with some common questions:

You’re a medium-gold user with almost 100 followers and a few featured builds. How do you feel being in the middle of silver and platinum? Do you feel an urge to reach platinum, or are you content with the level you’re at?
.
Being in the middle feels fine, i was in silver for quite a while Before i started getting better at the game and eventntually i left silver and got my 5k Points for gold. Now the goal is to just keep getting better and just get my final Points until platinum.
Also i don't feel an urge to reach platinum because i wan't to earn the points without rushing every build to get points on a post that barely works. And like i said above it just feels normal for me being gold.

Just so you can clear this up once and for all, tell me what you tell all others when they ask about your username.

To explain it all once and for all..
When i was younger i made a Youtube account so that i could comment, like videos and subscribe and i needed a name. At the time i played Minecraft and who else to ask than my older sister for naming advice? So i asked her and she came up with the name "MinecraftPower" and it was taken so then i decided to change it to "MinecraftPoweer" (idk why) and then because i already used the 2E version on YT i decided to use it in SP.
I do regret the username because even i realize that it is just cringe.
I usualy say a shorter version of the story but i Think that this will explain it for all better.

What is your favorite build that you’ve made? Why did it succeed, and why are you proud of it?

This is an interesting question, i really want to say the strv 103 because of the time it took to make the eleveation&depression system close to perfect and it was at the time the best replica i have ever made.
But now i realize that i could have improved the traction because it is not at the right level and i would say that i don't have just one favorite build but 2.
The 1st one is the Police car i made because it was pretty fun making it and it turned out very well, it was also my most detailed thing i have made with the fancy lights and the inside of the car.
The 2nd one has to be the Jagdpanzer E100 because of the tracks and how smooth it feels to drive and it just looks good.

Do you have any advice to the new players out there that are wondering how to expand and grow on SimplePlanes.com?

Some advice for new players is that you shouldn't be afraid to talk to the players in this Community because pretty much everyone will help you and the mods do a good job moderating the site.
Also some good advise is to accept criticism because people just want to help and give advice for the future.
Finally if you can use mods you totally should. Im 99% sure that i started racking up my points because i learned to use the mods and pretty much everything i upload now has been modded in one way or another
Some mods i recommend using are: Color mod (useful for making fancy colors and glossy stuff) Overload (perfect for Everything like weapons and fuselages) Finetuner (You can use the new one inside the game but im used to the mod one and i just find it useful for moving and scaling stuff)
also if you need to edit something thats fine and also sorry for random capital letters but that is my computers fault but if something is misspelled that is my fault
