Hey guys,
some of you might know me, most probably don't. Look at the date of the last creation on my profile. Now look at today's date. You notice that I took some time off because of lack of time.
Well, I still have a lot of ideas and I also want to improve some of my previous designs. I have spent the last weekend starting with overhauling one of my previous designs.
The outcome is something you might know as Sandrail or Baja Buggy. It is a lot more detailed, realistic and fun than before. I think we are still lacking a lot of those nice offroad vehicles in SimplePlanes.
It is almost finished now and I tweaked it a lot for my liking, but I would also like atleast someone else to try it. Preferrably also on different platforms than a Windows PC. Currently it requires the Lights mod by Gestour, but I can quickly make an iOS compatible version with standard Beacon lights aswell. The handling might be different with the onscreen controls and also I want to know how the performance is. Maybe you have some other suggestions aswell. I might make a weaponized version later on, but this will be a purely civilian vehicle.

Basic knowledge about real cars, handling and suspension geometry is helpful.

@Hayhayjam664 I noticed I actually also need the ID to add you. You see it in Discord when you go into the settings, right next to your name and starting with #.
@marcox43 I never messed around with pushrod in SP, but I also find it very interesting. It's just hard to get the connections right in SP. I'd be happy to hear what you think about the design. Just need your discord name and ID.

I remember you just fine. Did some(a?) collab(s) with you. That one buggy that had the dice that bounced around, and if I remember correctly it also had crossbone+skull decals.

I'd like to test this vehicle, I'm also working on a Push rod Baja buggy rn, but it's a Tournament compatible buggy, wich means 100% stock and low part count.
I have experience making offroad vehicles and complex suspension systems. I have discord too!
@Nerfenthusiast It seems that it's now necessary to also know the ID. Behind your name in the settings there should be a # and then four numbers, that's the ID. Btw. the difference won't be the performance, only that one requires the lights mod and the other doesn't (iOS doesn't allow mods). It's relatively light with below 600 parts.
