How fast do you build?

51.5k Falkenwut  5.6 years ago

Hey guys, first forum post for me. I am addicted to this game and have a tendancy to build A LOT of planes... some of which I fly only once and never again once published...

So back to the original question - How much time do you guys spend on building creations for this game? On average I calculated I take about 6 to 8 hours per plane - depending on the difficulty...

About an hour or two per plane unless it's a replica or a request

If it's like, a 30 part complex weird fly then something like 5-10 minutes, but if wan to do something serious then the time skyrockets

way to long, I can't help but constantly tinker with something even though i should just call it finished, recently things have taken upwards of 20hours, but at the same time I'm half doing other things

I am a VERY fast builder. So I can whip up 3 different creations in a fairly quick amount of time

The quality of the build is directly proportional to the amount of time and care spent. This one has taken me probably 20 hrs of building time over a couple of months, I build slowly, but this one is probably only half done.

These days I put in about 6-12 hours, spanned over a month. Plus about 5 to make all associated graphics and descriptions.

@Feanor I do a similar thing with some of my builds.

Though recently I've been building 1 model with different varietys - ex. My Mig-29 original and Naval Version

4 to 8 hours. I've got a few hundred subassemblies and spare parts to help me build stuff faster.

I can usually build something in like and hour or 2 but then I build version after version slowly fixing and improving small issues I made.. so to be honest maybe a day or 2 to make a final form. but to be honest an hour for a bored outa my mind build.

Oh probably about 4-5 hours for a normal build, then up to 15 for a detailed one.
