it was a goal of mine to get a feature since I started SP.
I would have rather gotten a feature than points! And now that I’m close to 25k I realized that no platinums really get a feature because it’s nothing to special for them to make super detail builds. I’m making a V-Bomber, the Vulcan and putting as much detail as I can but no cockpit. Would a cockpit get me a feature? I just want to know what it would take to get one. I may be at 20k but my builds are “limited” because I do them for fun in a few days.
Ok thanks :) I hope that happens @Zyvx
I think with your talent Ace, you just keep enjoying making stuff and keep your creativity going. How we feel shows in our creations and chats, you achieved 20k fast. Eventually one of your creations will be in the right place at the right time, and i will cheer you on.
Ok thanks :) @plane918273645
Yes, I’m sure that platinums can’t be featured unless it’s that @ACEPILOT109
Is that how they do it? @plane918273645
When you get to Platinum and you have never gotten a featured craft the first one on your front profile page will be featured
I find a good way to get a feature is picking out a really wierd and different idea that will stand out, for me it was a monster truck school bus that I made back when I was bronze
IDK my featured planes are quite bad compared to newer ones
@ChiyomiAnzai I honestly think we should collab on a project
I've had 3 I think. But I hardly deserved one of them at all.
@ChiyomiAnzai well, I can’t talk about bragging, because my coming one could, I’ve had one featured plane before, it’s my 777x
@ChiyomiAnzai don’t brag.. but it could??
I have never had a feature.
My marmon probably would have easily snatched a feature only if i had spent more time on the interior. was so close to one though.
Lol same here, I finally got featured when the devs decided to give every platinum player a feature on a plane of their choice due to increasing the "feature threshold" to allow for gold players.
My builds are also just random ideas that pop up into my head that I decide to make just to see something satisfyingly takeoff, and I often lose motivation if I dont consistently work on it for 5 hours straight.
As you gain more points, it becomes harder to get a feature. A sliver player is more likely to get a feature than a gold player granted they upload the same build. For your bomber to feature, the wings should be redone so they form a basic airfoil shape, (see some of my builds or EternalDarkness’ tutorial) with custom Airbrakes and control surfaces, which is actually quite easy. The proportions/blueprint accuracy could be improved and the engines and cockpit shaping could be made smoother. A custom cockpit (done well might I add) would be that final wow factor that would certainly get you a feature in conjunction with the above.
You can get a feature as a platinum player if you have never gotten one before. Andrew told some platinum player that a REALLY long time ago. Idk what it takes…. I have gotten 2, cool stuff. It really makes your stuff blow up.
It would take an
Ace pilot
to get you a feature. It would take a good looking plane and a willing mod
Thanks, I’ll fix that :) @BlueCitrus
I wouldn't know anything thing about getting featured but it's "since" not "sense" (not trying to be rude)
