Description
The Northrop Tacit Blue is a technology demonstrator aircraft created to demonstrate that a low-observable stealth surveillance aircraft with a low-probability-of-intercept radar (LPIR) and other sensors could operate close to the forward line of battle with a high degree of survivability.
Development: Unveiled by the U.S. Air Force on 30 April 1996, the Tacit Blue Technology Demonstration Program was designed to prove that such an aircraft could continuously monitor the ground situation deep behind the battlefield and provide targeting information in real time to a ground command center. Program's goal was to develop an efficient stealth reconnaissance aircraft with a low probability of intercept radar and other sensors that could operate close to the forward line of battle with a high degree of survivability. @OrangeConnor2 i wont be surprised this wont get a kill at all
Mild flex but I live 20 minutes drive away from this weird plane. It’s at the National museum of the Air Force in Dayton Ohio. I’ve been there about a dozen times.
if you’re running out of ideas how about you make an experimental planes series where you make things like tacit blue. It would be a great learning opportunity and you’ll be able to teach us about it.
Looks goofy 💀
f117 can't compete
The real stealth aircraft
Cute lil’ thang

If looks could kill...
