F-10A Tanto Early (Third Gen Light Fighter)

F-10A Tanto!

About time TUPL got a third-gen fighter (that for some reason is still in service :v)

Yes, this was made for WinsWing's challenge. I'm not too experienced with VR myself so it might not be perfect (probably isn't), but what matters is effort, right?

Plus, even if the cockpit isn't great, its agility is a little too overpowered.

Chasing the F-34 4.5-gen fighter

Now, I'll warn you of this much: Albeit agile, the F-10A is quite slow, only being barely capable of Mach 1. Its guns are also quite weak, but other than that, the Tanto is quite the solid fighter.

So uh... yeah. Have fun, here's some extras

In spite of being 3rd-gen fighters, Tantos serve to this day. They primarily serve as suppressors to the Sabrehog Crisis, but TUPL is planning to deploy them to the Crestan Conflict as well.

A top-ish view of the Tanto. The F-10A gets its nickname due to its wingtip shape.

An F-10A idles at Wright Airport shortly after battle with a Sabrehog formation. Note that it is not the same one seen in the first picture.

The Tanto flies under the Moon at night.

The way I see it, Tanto is a perfected F-11, but they took the second 1 out of his name (hence why he is F-10, not F-11)

@Karroc9522 I honestly thought it looks a little more like an F-105 mixed with a P-80 and F-11, but with the performance of the F-86Hs lol

So what I see is an f-16 and an F-86 had a child together. Sorry that's all I can see and I've tried to see otherwise lol. Love it though, especially for how fast the joke here clicked in my head ;)

@Rb2h Yeah, reason for that being I actually forgot to put on intakes until the plane was virtually finished aside from the intakes and flight balancing (and the exhaust exterior is made from an intake fuselage so I didn't get the not enough air thing), so yeah lol

My thoughts exactly- almost. When making/naming this, I had the F-16 in mind lol
