The F-5E Tiger II is a single-seat all-weather supersonic light fighter. The E variant is the 3rd of the series and was designed primarily for export, though a few US squadrons used them. It was exported to 32 countries, and several were sent to the Soviet Union by Vietnam and Ethiopia. It was a very sturdy design that is still in limited operation today. It is used in the US as a training aircraft and is still in active service in Iran as the Azarakhsh, an unlicensed version of the F-5E with mid-wing intakes and other avionics changes. It is also still in active duty with the US Navy, and the Taiwanese and South Korean air forces.

Yay, another FACH plane! :3 may I challenge you to shoot down my M.A Red arrow? I designed it to compete with the chilean F-5 tiger II, I'll tag you in it.
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook Oh yeah that works too :3
@EngineerOtaku I fixed them and I might upload an unlisted successor with the fixes. I just made them anti-collision and it fixed it
Nice build! Never fail to impress @AsteroidAsteroidTheBook
Nah he’s right i checked blueprints and the spine is a bit off as well @Default4
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook I know what happened and it plagues all of my missile builds as well. Basically you have to be sure that you launch your missiles from such an angle that they won't turn into your aircraft as they track a target, which means you have to just know the order of launch. If you set an ignitionDelay into the XML for the missiles you can just have them not fire off the motor until they're clear of your plane. It ain't you, it's just how the stock missiles are programmed I assume.
.
In terms of "fixing" the canopy one trick I use a lot is to just panel build sections of the cockpit that aren't supposed to be glass. Funny enough I did that on my F-5E build so if you kind of want an idea for a fix that might help. Looks kinda cool once you do that.
@BagelPlane Lol yeah don't go full pitch
Well I figured out what "depart controlled flight" meant pretty quickly
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook Can you show me what you mean on Discord?
@Default4 The canopy is not 100% fine. ChiChi told me to revise it. It's a difficult shape to get right and I would have had to redo the whole fuselage in order to get it right
@EngineerOtaku I usually activate the airbrakes and then gradually put the flaps down until I'm at about 150-160mph. Then I usually don't have to use trim, or if I do it's a little bit up. One of the sidewinders did a little buggy thing one time but it seemed to fix itself in other tests so I'm not entirely sure lol.
@Fliegerkerlchen I might redo them
