AS-10A "The Ghost" II
This is the follow-up post to the first fighter and my final submission as far as challenge goes. However, I plan on more after the challenge.
ABOUT
The AS-10A "Ghost" Is the production version of Quechal's first Air Superiority fighter created in a rush to counteract the rising tension between Araucaria and Quechal. It Single handed-ly caused a peace treaty to be signed at the cost of a war hero who brought peace to the lands of Chiloa and Quechal before the war got to reach a global presence. Now having cemented itself on being the Nation's pride, the craft was being developed in variants to be exported.

Additional Details
This adds a few improvements visually and functionally from the last post which also adds to the overall overarching lore of the craft. While the last one was merely a prototyping model, this one is made to be ready to be exported.
All the other necessary details about where it's from and all is on the previous post.
It has a lot more weapons now to truly demonstrate how dangerous of a fighter this can be since it cut costs stealth wise and doubled down on it's little magnetron system ( the little bomb-looking things on the nose and tail.)

And of course... still My personal favourite style...
Lore Addendum ( Spoken from the Perspective of Afonso Caetano Angelo, Board of directors )
Somewhere amidst the time when we were still depending on Fracisco for all the bloody chaos he was handling, we were given the go ahead to start developing more prototypes. We had effectively reached a point where the magnetron was consistently frying weapons well before they reached a detonation range… even then, there was an impending feeling that EOTS would outdo us… that hypothesis wasn't wrong.
It's good to know that the board of directors was going through major changes alongside the active development of the AS-10. Francisco was always holding up well in the air… but for some unforeseen reason none of us could properly decipher, his mental health went down day by day. He was not talking as much and would often joke about how his death was inching closer every minute. It's… ironic, really. I'm not sure if he planned anything, but I believe that he had his own feelings towards what was brewing with the Araucarians.
He was still quite encouraging. Even after coming down from intense, demanding fights where he'd consistently pull over 10G’s in turn fights… he'd come back down and just smile at me on reuniting with him. He was… quite the duality, I'd say.
Around March in 2002 he started to grow distant towards his family. It was… it was weird to see. This was the same man who would pick his daughter up excitedly and place a gentle kiss on his wife’s cheeks after a hard day at work with happy smiles on each of their faces. During this time, instead of that, what we got to see is a sleep deprived, decrepit man who was starting to lose his sense of sanity…
Of course… not many people were aware about how he was acting when alone, but we used to be really close. I never understood why, but the picture he once put up on his desk, with his wife, child and extended family was replaced by a picture of him and his brother in high school. I preserved it well even today.
Meanwhile, we'd often conduct a lot more flight tests and were able to make the craft properly compatible with new, more advanced weapons that would take full advantage of our Radars. The aircraft had effectively become a weapons platform with all the perks of a 5th Generation, except stealth… even though it is arguably the most important piece to the problem, the combining act of all the other additions we pushed onto the craft nearly matched the capabilities.
After we were finally greenlit for actual production models, we were at first, happy to let Francisco know that his fights won't be with him alone anymore…
But it was… too late. You know, we widely accept that he died in his crash during the faithful fight of the atoning brothers who wanted to finish off the separations of the family, but you can ask anyone else in the team from back then. He was a dead man walking around with only a goal now.
He wasn't even smiling anymore now, him looking up at me was a miracle in the last few months leading up to his death.
I once again couldn't tell you if he planned it, or iff he knew how he wanted to finish it off… but I could tell you this. He had made his decision to continue fighting alone, often being troublesome to Advisors and admirals, breaking formations and speeding into dangerous territories to fight alone.
He was actively provoking Araucarian lash-back. Maybe that was his plan all along. Maybe he wanted the attention to shift into him and away from Quechal.
His design was refined to perfection though, it soared high. And maybe his family did fall apart little by little, maybe his story might have had it's bad ending, but I'm still writing it's true conclusion for him.
I took his daughter in ever since. She's a good child, all grown up now… works as a lead engineer in Arastarika. It's good to see her all grown and working despite such a troublesome past. His wife… god bless her, what else can you say, really?
[P.S:Context for the wife is that she lost her sanity completely because of personal matters between her and Francisco,]
We still call her Mrs.Pickle. We removed the “Little”, though. I mean, The girl's past some of us in height. How ironic [He chuckles]
The fighter is now one of the most advanced in the world… accelerating in a near vertical, Payload capacity like no other… Magnetrons microwave emitters that fry missiles electronics before they touch your WEZ… and we're still improving it.
Quechal's Domestic empowerment programme lead to some beautiful amounts of monetary boosts as well. We can now actually afford to fuel passion, not just the stomachs of hungry, unplayed families.
And most importantly…
Quechal…
Has a Ghost in the skies.
About My Experience
So if course, this covers both variants. I think that this one in particular folks has been such a beautiful story just in general.
I started this project during a really difficult point in time for me because of family problems, let's say, then it was some other things with school and classes and a lot of just... Things that I just couldn't handle.
This plane taught me that I can do things really well with peace of mind... I also learnt during the development of this that I... I've lost my social worries, but consequently, I've lost my ability to be social... Or rather... Want.. to?
I don't find it necessary anymore to talk. I've realised that I can just do story writing and plane making among other things to just shut my mind off for a bit. And... You know? It was important to me.
Of course, this project is still massively blown beyond its initial ambition, which originally just "okay cool, jet fighter"
But I started to put a lot of love into this thing, especially seeing how lovely the design looked to me. Not to toot my own here, it's not much of my own anyway, it's just a combination of a lot of real world designs
I guess this is the closest I'll get to making a genuine replica. I don't think I ever want to make one with my current skill, I'm simply not smart enough, or skilled enough to do so, but this was the closest I could get
And... I like it. Not just because it was a break I oh so dearly needed, but because this final version especially just does everything right. At this point, all it really lacks is thrust vectoring nozzles, but even that is a nitpick because I've already explained how low of a state the company making this was in, and the to further add to it, how this barely needs nozzles like that. It also already has an engine with bypass flow ducts anyway, that also likely aids in afterburner perfomance but I could be wrong about that.
Anyway, this one, particularly this version was immaculate to make. I'm glad DrakonDynamics gave us the opportunity to do this and I really hope to see stuff like this in the near future, especially for Simpleplanes 2
And... Who knows? I might considering something for that!
Lastly, though this is all I can offer to the actual challenge post, I want to do more with the plane itself as well as expanding On Quechal's lore for the Novaran RP
You should ABSOLUTELY check it out! They recently worked out a really cool PvP system and also they gave just really funny dudes to chill there with!
Although, I should give you a fair warning, if you decided to go on discord, be it Novarans or really any other, then you should REAALLLYYY be careful if you're not over 16 years old.
Of course, I'm not gonna put links to anything anywhere... Don't wanna advertise or anything... But yeah, I've had a lot of fun in the moments leading up to this build
Oh yeah, sub 150-100 part version of this is in the works as well! It's going to have a code that keeps it so simple and well tested that its the end-all-be-all for all of your Relaxed stability plane problems. Do look forward to that!
Thank you and have a great day!

Also, I didn't have to tag mods to make it a successor this time because I actually had the guts and time to re-do the entire variable and color list after saving the plane as a sub assembly >:D
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 :D
