The 303 Squad was formed by Poles who had defected to England. The squadron was formed in 1940 and planes are switched to Hurricanes, Spitfires and Mustangs, destroying an estimated 300 enemy aircraft between 40 and 45 years.
also The squadron also claimed to have shot down the most number of aircraft in the BoB.
Amazingly, while I was making this, I reached 303followers. It was completely unintended and unexpected.

There is a movie about this squadron and the pole who translated the English words into polish was f*cking funny, for example, the British leader would say something like “Now, when you are close to the ground, you dumb swines make sure you don’t forget to leave the bloody gear up” and the translator would say “ when you are up in the sky, you smart apes don’t forget to leave your gear down while fighting”
