The 1977 season seemed reignite a fire within Keniss. After scoring 0 wins from 1974-1976, they dominated the 1977 Championship, winning 7 races and taking Vincent Almore to his first of 3 Titles. 1978 was equally historic for the team, as the T9B-3 Completely owned the season. In 1978, the team won 14 of 16 races, scored 22 Podiums, 12 Pole Positions, and secured the first Constructors title for an American team. Almore won 10 races that season, and his rookie teammate Timote Waters won 4. Almore's record of 10 race wins in one season stood until Elena Schumacher won 13 in 1997 with Tyrrell.
