[PEA] Friedrichshafen FF.33L
Part-Efficient Aircrafts~!!
my brain kinda empty cause me tired from all the study, but hey, enjoy this floatplane, the FF.33s are one of my beloved floatplanes for the virtue that it's.. well I don't really know why actually, but I just do, though one of the reason I do is the fact that it was planned to be used onboard the German Aircraft Carrier SMS Ausonia(a.k.a I-class) in WWI which ended up not being fully built because U-Boats were better or something, shame, could be cool y'know.
anyway yeah, btw, I think I'm somewhat changing my style of building PEA, which originally, aims to be as low of a part count as possible, now I find that cramming as much details into a relatively very low part count aircraft very fun af, and I'd say for the 64 part this has(w.out part-saving, this would've been 85 parts in total, counting the extra struts, the bridge between the top wings, and roundels), it's very good, about 26% efficiency I suppose?
P.S. this plane is not for the impatient, or the acrobatic-tendecies, or fighters, or... okay listen here, its slow, like, rightfully so, don't have any funny ideas
Friedrichshafen FF.33 was a German single-engined reconnaissance three-bay wing structure biplane, using twin floats, designed by Flugzeugbau Friedrichshafen in 1914 for the Marine-Fliegerabteilung aviation forces of the Kaiserliche Marine.
FF.33L; Main production scout/fighter version, with further aerodynamic improvements and a fixed machine gun, about 130 built
[ Controls ]
- Standard Aircraft Controls
- AG1 : Activate Gyroscope(for stable lazy flights)
- AG2 : (w. gyro activated) Climbing Mode
- AG3 : (w. gyro activated) Pylon Turn Mode(for observation, close air support(however effective that is), or defensive maneuver so you could shoot that annoying britishman tailing you)
- AG4 : Activate MG14 Machine Gun(and it's associated crosshair)
- Camera-aimed Machine Gun
[ Guidelines ]
[ Taxiing ]
- just water dance or something idk
[ Takeoff ]
- Full Throttle, activate AG1 & 2, let it take off by itself.
[ Flight ]
- Standard Aircraft Controls; i recommend turning on AG1 if you wanna fly straight without constant correction, else, it turns hella funny and fun w.out it lmao, tight turning cirle too.
[ Landing ]
- Slow down accordingly and land it like a normal floatplane.
[ Armaments ]
- 1x MG14 7.92x57mm Machine Gun, 765m/s( 2509ft/s), 600rnds/min(10rnds/s)
[ Notes ]
- Nothing much I wanna say, I mean I guess beside the hectic schedule I suppose, but that's that.
- I was racking my brain thinking of how I can incorporate a crosshair that is good and ended up with this one, it's not super great but it works alright, the drawback is just that glintering orange when it's stowed but no one would notice from afar anyway lmao
[ Credits ]
- @Thecatbaron for the G-Limiter, works alright, though i could probably use better ones
Free to use!
if ya want to make an airbase, or maybe make an airwing for a carrier, or maybe to help battleships lead their shells, you can add and use any of my planes (unless you claim them as your own creation, i will damp your pillows if you do.)
Want More Part-Efficient Aircrafts?
come along come along! we(yes, we.) have a lot of low part, simple, and realistic performing aircrafts for all to use and fight against! light performance cost and AI-spawnable, there's no reason not to! we have the little beloved Fuchs, the graceful Muromets, the Holy Mi-26, and... a lot of obscure aircrafts are available!!
P.S. I'm somewhat closing Community PEA submissions(for now), and I've read some of some feedbacks, i take notice of in particular of course, the lack of quality, especially people mislabelling low-part as "PEA"(yes, miss lunar, i do regret it), and i suppose the lot of it is because they dont know HOW to save part, i don't blame them, but when i get the time, i hope to create a tutorial on how to save part, since I have quite some that i want to share, anyway, toos, and see you later when i get around again, chii-se ( = w = )

Awesome!
@ThomasRoderick do you approve of the part-saving manual aim crosshair?
@RealMicroZackSP yea, it's named after the town and the town is named after the monarch. So there's a person's name in there somewhere
@Monarchii
That plane looks simillar to my name :3
beautiful
Nice biplane👍🏻👍🏻
I’m having funny ideas
YAY!
@worldwaraviations015 YO THE MAN HIMSELF, poggers
@126 maybe somewhere this year, if not, early next-year perhaps, no promises since I'm not great with cars in particular sooo, yehh

@Monarchii anyways, will the mitsubishi colt t120ss come this year or later? seriously though, i genuinely can't wait to see it and all versions, including a van version, but please do NOT ruin it by adding a crewcab, or atleast make it optional in one of the many different versions of it
@intruder72 glad t'cha like it :3
@ThomasRoderick well, one of the reasons is part saving, and since it's a camera-aimed I feel like wouldn't that be a little odd? but I'll see how that goes next time around
Finally some good shit with the PEA label on it
@Monarchii
W H Y
Seriously, if I were you I'd fix the camera, the crosshair, and the gun to the same platform, and have the camera auto-centered.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover yeh
Also I feel your pain mate, study good but make very tired
WAKE UP EVERYBODY, NEW MONARCHII POST!
