General Dynamics F-16C Viper Block 52 Version 5.11
For SimplePlanes
The F-16C Fighting Falcon, more commonly referred to as “Viper” (a moniker that has practically replaced the original name), was originally envisioned as a lightweight air-to-air fighter. However it evolved into a multirole throughout its service, a change made possible by the overdesigned airframe, which had double the structural lifespan requested. The F-16 was the first aircraft designed to be intentionally aerodynamically unstable, using a fly-by-wire system to maintain controlled flight. In addition to a high thrust-to-weight ratio, this allows the F-16 to be extremely nimble compared to its contemporaries, especially in the two-circle. The Block 52 C-model incorporates an improved engine, avionics, and weapons compatibility.
The F-16 is the most widely used fixed-wing aircraft in military service, being operated by the United States, Israel, Pakistan, Turkey, Denmark, and Venezuela, among several other countries. It is also the aircraft used by the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron, “Thunderbirds,” who operate the F-16C and twin-seat F-16D. Additionally, there have been several upgrade programs for F-16’s. Author’s Notes
- Controls included in craft instructions.
- Extending/Retracting the landing gear rapidly will glitch the landing gear animation.
- Be careful when dropping PGM’s. Not facing your target may cause it to collide with your own aircraft. Dropping at an insufficient altitude or at too close of a distance to the target will result in a miss.
- Dropping PGM's in slow motion will cause the missile trail to show.

@iamblazingsquirrel exactly, its absolutely amazing. i found myself staring backwards most of the time pulling and watching the wings flex because ive never seen a plane in this game where i can look over my shoulder in an aircraft and feel whats happening to the aircraft just from the wings alone

Out of all the F-16 replicas out there, in my opinion, this is the best one in terms of how well it flies!
Can you make another alternative load out with just 2 or 4 air-air missiles?
@ReinMcDeer wonderful job! I love your simple but realistic builds!
@TheCommentaryGuy That is just angle of attack. Best way to get it is to make your wings liftScale=1 or less and have your COL and COM relatively close together. Hidden wings in the leading edge extensions also help a lot.
This plane is stable with AOA because the slats are aerodynamically functional and have liftScale=-1 and the FBW also helps.
@ReinMcDeer the effect when you pull so much Gs?
@TheCommentaryGuy The little drift?
Hey can you tell me how to do the little drift?
i love this build. i love the way the jet "drifts" when it banks
Didn't mean to put MM
??*
@ReinMcDeer can you do a AC-30MM
@SemiCollin That is actually intentional
If you look in the variables, you'll see the FT i used for that effect as well
Very nice looking plane with low parts, and I'm assuming its unintentional but I really like how the wings shake a bit when pulling high Gs
@ReinMcDeer Thanks, had no clue what that meant since the tag never changed for so long.
simply beautiful
@FirstFish83828 Yes and I'm kinda surprised
Did you know you have a building style named after you?
@ReinMcDeer According to Lockheed, they do indeed use the Block 52. They also have F-16D twin seat trainers, so maybe you can do that too.
@TRD Maybe. Sounds like a fun side project. I don't know if they use the Block 52 specifically though
@klm747klm747 Kinda? That was an F-16A though
Apex Predators?
Amazing. Will you do a Thunderbirds livery for the clean version?
