Chaparral 2J
My entry into the Can Am challenge
Without wasting any time...
Features
-Custom suspension (Macpherson's strut to be precise)
-Working Fan
-VR cockpit
-Automatic transmission
-Fixed cam view
Specs
0-60: 2.5 seconds
Top speed: 216mph
Braking distance: Your most likely gonna lock them up
Instructions
They are in game but the handling isnt as smooth as I wanted to make it due to time and challenge parameters, so take it easy.
Stuff to note
-As you could probably tell, this was rushed.
-Despite the extremely low skirts this thing has not been caught on any invisible bump, even on kenneth's track for mobile, although completing the track is hard for different reasons. Also do NOT recommend taking this offroad.
-I have no clue if the fans really give more grip but you will notice it by the ride height lowering.
-Credits in the pinned comment and happy new month everyone!

@ToeTips thank you brodie
@Rexeltz
Aight I'll add that to the bucket list when I get a new phone.
Make a Chaparral 2F next bro please?
I’ve seen this car IRL, it’s at the petroleum museum in midland, they got basically every chaparral including the Indycar that they built,
@Rattlesnake
If you giving ratings dont forget this one.
@KSB24
Just found out you put my build my build on your profile. Thank you! Your probably the reason it has so many upvotes.
@ToeTips well, one day ill make one and tag you, if I remember
@hpgbproductions real
@MobileBuilder21
Thanks!
Great work
@BYardley
Thanks.
The 2J is one the best racing cars it also has many crazy abilities but nobody is talking about it's sad
And this build looks cool and realistic
@ToeTips I dunno. I tried a bunch myself and I had to Jerry rig another actuator from my subassemblies to it since I didn't feel like scaling one down
@KSB24
Yeah! Im still suprised it got upvotes fast, I was not expecting this speed. I was thinkng it would get like 20 upvotes or so. Guess people like fridges lol.
👏👏👏👏👏!!!!
You've Entered the Challenge Dangerously Before the Deadline, Also This Your Entry Received Most Upvotes of The Challenge As Very Quick!!!
@V
Okay but why is mirroring it a problem? Ive never had that before.
@ToeTips don't mirror the actuator, place a new one
@CalebRepublic
Thanks, though looking through your builds I feel like you could still do a better job, if just in the looks department, it is kinda rushed.
Darn it, this was one of the cars I have been wanting to make, you did such a good job with it I do not think I could do better.
It is also one of my favorite cars ever, since it is the perfect example of an engineer throwing everything out the window to concentrate on one aspect/mechanism. Threw away all the looks and most of the aero for the car just for the fan suction system.
@hpgbproductions
I am so sorry!!! I meant to pin your comment not remove it. Had a brain fart. Could you post it back?
@V
I tried everything to make them work, it just decided to not work for some reason...
When I have time I will try to fix it and update otherwise I will remove the function all together.
