Turret Fighter Challenge

I haven't finished even handing out the rewards from my previous challenge? True. But I am going to make another one anyway, and no one will stop me.

A very interesting yet unseen concept, one that I practically never even see fictional airplanes of on this site are those beauties. Turret Fighters.
Boulton-Paul Defiants, P-61s, and (the trash) Blackburn Roc are examples of such concepts, but because of how obscure it is, let's expand it with our fictional crafts, yes?

Rules and Objectives of the Challenge

Your task is to create a Turret Fighter, from anywhere between 1914 to 1960.
What is a turret fighter, you may ask? It's a very obscure concept that peaked on World War I, already outdated in World War II, with the idea of the gunner and pilot being two separate roles (So one could focus on flying, the other on shooting). With time, planes became faster and faster, and the idea of a marksman faded, as well as turrets in general. However, as outdated as it is, turret fighters were remarkably effective at engaging bombers, like the Boulton-Paul's Defiant against bombers, and not so much with fighters.

Here are the rules to create your own:

1- It must have one, motorized turret with a good concentration of armaments, comparable to any standard fighter. For example, 4x12mm configurations or 2x20mm configurations are allowed and suggested.

2- The turret and armament must be realistic, and the weight of it should affect flight performances. If you put a sizeable turret with heavy armaments, you need more than one engine. Be realistic

3- Keep the forward-firing armaments to a minimum. A few machine guns are accepted and very recommended, but don't focus its firepower there.

4- Limit of 500 parts for your building. I am on mobile, lads.

5- The creation can be fictional or replica (even if it's very hard to find one anyhow). However, please post new aircraft, don't copy builds, or reutilize old crafts.

6- Must be a successor of this post.

7- It must perform the role of a fighter. It has to be able to at least take down bombers, or defend against fighters.

    @11qazxc It is a pretty big caliber, but considering what I built has similar statistics, sure!

    Yes, but I remind you that it's supposed to be a fighter and not a bomber. It can be Jet-powered since the maximum allowed era is 1960.
    I would advise to limit yourself to two. More than two would definitely give it the size and shape of, definitely not a fighter.

    Manual loading isn't a problem of gun itself.
    But i agree about HE shells.

    @11qazxc this was a squeeze bore and manually reloaded cannon i think, so it would be kinda bad since it could fire only apcr bullets and not he bullets

    Can i install more than one turrets? (you will need at least 2 to cover full sphere)
    How many engines can i install?
    Can it be jet-powered?
    Will 20mm cannon with 1400m/s muzzle velocity be considered as realistic?

    Hmmm. It participated in SOME aerial combat, it has two turrets and guns in the wings. If I add more guns in the wings and increase them to 20mm, along with an improved main engine, would it work?
