Gepard 2 is a main battle tank developed by Anbruch. It was developed to replace the already outdated Gepard 1A2, and later on 1A3. Main notable features of this design are a new 125mm smoothbore cannon, 20mm coaxial autocannon, and a gas turbine engine.

Developed in 1982, Gepard 2 became a new main battle tank of Anbruch, rapidly replacing a good amount of Gepard 1A2's that were still in service. Initial production run had massive problems with the engine and transmission, however, it was quickly fixed and improved, nearly doubling the range.

This specific tank is nicknamed "Double Trouble", being one of first hundred tanks produced. It is assigned to Tank Unit - 9. It is part of 6th platoon, 3rd tank of the platoon.
