M1A2 Abrams MBT
M1A2 Abrams MBT
Some History
The M1 Abrams entered service in the United States Army and United States Marine Corps in 1980. The purpose was to replace the M60 Patton which was the United States' earlier MBT. The M1 had 2 updates since then, the M1A1 and the M1A2. The M1A2 Abrams is equipped with a 120 mm L/44 M256A1 smoothbore gun. It's secondary armament is a .50 caliber M2HB heavy machine gun mounted on the top and two M240 machine guns (one mounted on the top and one coaxial). The tank was named after General Creighton Abrams.
Now let's talk about my build!
It took me several weeks (maybe months, I started working on the first version in May, 2018) to build this (if we sum up the total work hours that I spent working on the tank, then about a week of non-stop work)
But I'd like to thank to @Minecraftpoweer for helping me out with this amazing track system, just look at it:
Awesome, isn't it?
The tank has 20 boom25s to shoot (I'd recommend WNP78's Advanced Targeting mod, if you want to accurately hit things... or people:
https://www.simpleplanes.com/Mods/View/767005/Advanced-Targeting)
And 2 machine guns, one is mounted on the top and can turn 180° in each direction, separately from the main turret, while the other is coaxial and follows the main cannon.
it also has a periscope (basically useless but it gives an immersion if you only use the cameras and the cockpit view)

I hope you like my creation, I have a lot of work in it.
Have fun!

Hey, good job too. Part count is too high though :)
@CeeToTheZee thanks 🙂
This is actually really good, you really deserve more upvotes with this one.
