Custom Tiger Challenge [Closed]
Custom Tiger Challenge!
Hello and welcome to my first Challenge!
In this challenge, you gotta download and customize this Tiger tank. Make it unique, but authentic, give it a character, but stay real.
Description of the challenge:
Your task is to download this stock Pz.Kpfw. VI. Tiger I. ausf. H1 and put (or remove, but mostly put) stuff on it, such as:
- equipment (bags, helmets, replacement tracks, personal stuff etc.)
- paintings (camouflage, battalion insignias, turret number, name on the tank [Like "Fury" in Fury or "Stefan" in BFV etc.], victory marks, writings [Like "First in Bastogne" on a Sherman Jumbo] etc.)
- anything else, just be crative (and authentic, don't put stuff that couldn't be on a WWII tank)
Judging will be based on the following:
1. The Idea
Did you have an idea, a plan or something and you weren't just throwing stuff together
How creative you were. How unique it is. How much of a character it has.
How authentic it is. Does it feel like it's an actual WWII tank or not.
2. The Build
How well did you execute your idea
How good it looks
How much effort did you put into your build.
Tried to keep partcount as low as possible. (builds above 1000 part must be reeeeeally good to reach higher placing)
3. Function
Ruining the original tanks basic features (which are: turret rotation and gun elevation, working suspension, gunsight and weaponry. you can modify them but be careful with it) will automatically disqualify you from the challenge
Any new functions/features and their execution.
Authenticity. NO modern stuff like missiles or something are added. Anything like that will automatically disqualify you from the challenge
+ Plus points
Name. You can gain plus points by adding a name to your Tiger and/or names for it's crewmen.
Story. another plus is if you write a little story about your Tiger in the description. Stuff like: which battles did it participate in, or the events of a specific battle, fate of the crew, etc. be crative.
Dates:
The Challenge deadline is: February 16 (Saturday) 2019. 12:00 Central European Time (UTC +1) Every upload after that won't be counted
[Closed]
Winners will be announced on February 17 (Sunday) 2019

1st Place: 20 upvotes + 5 spotlights
2nd Place: 10 upvotes + 3 spotlights

Honorable mention*: 1 upvote and a spotlight
Everyone else: 1 upvote
*Honorable Mention is a build that isn't good enough to get a placing but I still like it for its creativity or some other reason
If you still don't get the idea, here are some examples for you:
Tiger 237 "Stefan" from Battlefield V
*Schultz's Tiger Ace from Company of Heroes
Other non-Tiger I. examples of customisation:
"Fury" from the movie Fury
The "First In Bastogne" Sherman Jumbo
Captured Tiger II.

If there are any questions, leave them in the comments :D

Please do something similiar to this soon. But use the tracks mod its way easier to run
@BMilan aight
@AdlerSteiner I meant like removing the headlights, or sideskirts etc. small parts, not the whole tank.
Your task is to download this stock Pz.Kpfw. VI. Tiger I. ausf. H1 and put (or remove, but mostly put) stuff on it, such as:
when you said remove
you meant you can also remove the tank and make a new one
Just uploaded mine now.
I'm in
@BMilan knuff-ced.
@AdlerSteiner I leave it to be a surprise 😉
@BMilan what's the next one
@asteroidbook345 Sounds great, I'm looking forward to it :D
@AnoniMosu can't wait to see it :D
I have the most wonderful idea
Very good!
I see. @BMilan
@AdlerSteiner I'm planning to make a whole series of WWII tanks, and the Tiger I. and its variants was the first step in this, but I'm already working on the next one
i was actually gonna make the whole panzerkampfwagen series but major issues on the app...
@BMilan ah, ok then. btw i must say this is a good challenge, good luck to the contestants
@AdlerSteiner eh nope, the task is to modify this Tiger.
can i make a tiger instead
@Winstonlharambe maybe some other time, when I'll build a Panther
@asteroidbook345 @AnoniMosu as I stated in the description, changing the basic features (which includes the armament of the tank) is forbidden, sorry. The idea is that the tank itself remains a Tiger I. It doesn't change into a flaktiger or anything else, you just add stuff to make it a unique looking Tiger I.
I'm in!
remove the armour, just mount a gun on the platform. That’s something the germans would do.
time to recreate my WarThunder Tiger plus some special features
