this might be my longest post sorry....

my bad Yall... 😭

time really do goes by fast, this is probably the 100th time im apologizing for disappearing, my motivation just died after steam cloud nuked my saves 😡
I managed to recover 50% of the Sleeper II and was able to recomplete it.

as much as I hate bringing bad news all the time, I must speak about the problem that occurred, one that was rather expected but I did not anticipate it at that time, I've been playing Simple Planes on Steam with the option Steam Cloud left untouched, its default setting is set to active, but I never really needed the Steam Cloud feature because I make backups every now and then.

I had no problems at all for 3 years of playing SP, well.... that was until the Steam Cloud did something wrong, and when it did it was around the time I forgot to make the periodical backups, the AircraftDesigns folder was reset to somewhere around the early 2023, this means all the more recent builds has been purged, this includes all the builds uploaded to the Monolith II (thankfully i did upload them so they are safe). but thats not the case for the un-uploaded ones 😔

sadly this build is gone with no recoverable things, also the Sleeper II and Bishop's progress has been reverted by a large margin 😞

Information

The XT-OM 04 "Sleeper II" is yet another unit that has successfully redeveloped, adapting itself to hostile actions, this includes movement techniques, weaponry and overall armor, but the upgrades are not only limited to aerial advantages, the Sleeper II also has increased movement capabilities and stability on surface thanks to its two new middle legs.

Melee segment is now present on this unit, its capable of delivering a quick plunging attack while on the ground.

• Group 1 : Disobey Formation Speed
• Group 5 : Deactivate Auto Targetting Turrets (Turrets will become static)
• Group 7 : Weapon Safety (turns off Weapon System)
• Group 8 : i dont know what dis does probably nothing i think

Controls

you can switch between Modes by turning landingGears on/off
Landing Gear On : VTOL/Walking Mode
Landing Gear Off : Flight Mode

VTOL/Walking Mode

Pitch : Forwards/Backwards
Roll : Turn Left/Right
Yaw : Bank left/Right (only available while in the Air)
Brake : Crouch (only available while walking)

VTOL : Cycle between 4 Wing Modes

Flight Mode

Trim = Trim
the controls are just like regular Planes on this mode.

VTOL Slider Explanation

Blue (0.5 - 1) : Flap speed, Increase for higher vertical climb speed
Yellow (0 - 0.5) : Ready take off, goes into a ready state before jumping up
Green (0 - -0.5) : Landing sequence, use this for landing
Red (-0.5 - -1) : Close wings, will perform a dive to descend rapidly while mid air
while on the ground, pressing FireGuns will perform the plunging attack.
